I used a pizza pan for a Back-to-School wreath. I painted one of those big apple signs for the center and used wooden letters to say, "Learn the knowledge of God." I glued fall leaves around the edge and added a crayon box, a big pink eraser, pens and pencils, child's scissors and a ruler. Pizza pans are great for creativity but my DT has had none all year!

@@CraftingCousins your welcome. I have a question for a metal sign n pizza pan what type of glue can you use?
I use Mod Podge to attach the paper to the pan. I used hot glue to attach the beads but I willbe keeping it inside. If you are hanging outside you would want to use E600 or Super Glue Fix-All Adhesive

Your pizza pan conversions are great. You know I don’t like to pick a favorite since I consider all of the creations equally nice. The turkey is really sweet. He would be cute on anyone’s wall. The shabby chic memo board is cool. It would be great in so many places. The Merry Christmas sign is neat and could be a great Christmas card holder. The half beads add a great element to the pans and create a pretty look. Everyone has gotta love the Grinch. The pans offer so many different opportunities for decorating everyone can find one or more for their home decor.

I love the merry Christmas with red and white beads. I do have to say I was SO impressed with how the sunflower with the holey pan turned out and that was super creative. The yellow and green burlap colors were perfect! Good job ladies and thanks so much for inspiring me 💛

I have a sure binder glue gun and have had trouble off and on with having to "push" my glue sticks. It has only happened 2 or 3 times but I found that if u turn the glue stick it takes care of the problem. Seems to be more of a glue stick problem than the gun. Because I really like my sure bonder. And it's happened with gorilla ones as well as sure bonder and cheap ones. But like I said twisting them seems to solve it. You'd think it wouldn't happen at all with as much as one spends on these things! Btw love ur channel and crafts. Hope this helps a little anyways.

Not sure if you know or not but they have a tool that tightens the zip tie and cuts the excess too. I have problems with my hands too and this tool helps. Not sure what it’s called but might help you

On the pizza pans instead of using twine for the hangers could you use the tabs from the soda cans and still use a lot of glue to adhere it to the pan? Love all your videos. Think I'll make the turkey one for my dad's front door.
It is quite possible. We use them all the time on wood rounds. Also, cable tie mounts would work. Thanks for watching 😊 💕
If you put a dab of hot glue on the glue stick you're putting into the gun it'll stick to the hot glue already in the gun and it feeds through just fine.

Is acrylic paint or chalk paint better for these I tried rustoleum paint and primer spray paint and if you nick it the paint comes off
Hi Patty 😊 I prefer chalk paint. I get a better coverage and it seems to stick better. Sanding over your pan to rough it up helps it stick better too. Now if you are using chalk paint you do have to seal it with a clear sealant if you are going to be hanging it outside. Thanks for watching ☺ ❤
I’m sorry, how do you transfer the face to the pan?
Hi Cindy 😊 For the turkey? I sketched out a face in paper (there is a link to the sketch I made so you can print it out if you like) then I took a piece of chalk and rubbed it all over the back of the paper. Lay the paper on your pan and use a pencil to trace over the lines. When you remove the paper the lines will be on your project so you can fill in the face. Where do get the lettering?
Hi 😊 and thanks for stopping by 😊❤ We get our lettering from different places, sometime we use our Cricut, sometimes we buy wooden words or letters from Dollar Tree or Hobby Lobby and honestly most of the time we just type us what we want it to say, print it out and trace it onto our project.
