Crazy thing is, would probably be a sub-30 if you just went right at the start!
As an aside, I find I often consider the chat gambas on these things to be kinda poorly thought-out. Whether it's the item gambas in the normal randos, or setting a finish time in these races. The race gamba should just be whether Oats comes in 1st or not IMO. That way no matter how long the seed actually takes, it's still down to how the overall race goes rather than an arbitrary finish time that may not even be possible to hit depending on the seed.
What you're betting on is if the seed is gonna be that length or not.
@@metroid031993 That's fair enough, but I think with it being a race it'd make more sense to have the gamble be about the race instead of just how long the seed is. Or maybe something like that comes too close to actual gambling and isn't allowed for some reason? idk if the system has any weird rules like that about betting on competitions lol
@@qactustick Since there is no real money on the line the system is fine in most countries. The seed length one allows for more educated guesses than race win since half the competitors don't even stream so god knows how well they're doing
@@SquidSushi_ The same could be said about seed length though; nobody knows how long a seed's going to take until it's completed. I don't think anyone would have predicted that this seed would take barely half an hour to complete, for instance. Nor that the next one (uploaded to this channel at least) would take over an hour and a half. It's just as much of a shot in the dark because that's just the nature of randomizers. But having a gamba that'd be the same even if Oats wasn't in a race seems kinda weird to me. They might as well go back to the item gambles if they're not gonna factor in the racing aspect lol
@@qactustickthe gamba closed almost 12 minutes into the seed at which point oats had a boss down, both suits and all kinds of stuff. With the info of the first ~10 minutes you can submit an educated guess
