Engine 11 Was Temporarily Relocated to Engine 3s Station & Medic 21 was Relocated to Squrt 8's Station from Roughly January 2020- September 2023 while Major Renovations had to be Done.
Engine 11 Was One of a Few Segregated Firehouses in th city From 1918 Till 1949 According to The Fire Musuem's Blog . Only African American Firefighters were assigned here during that Time period, Engine 11 was one Of 22 Original Fire companies when The PFD was Organized as the Bureau of Fire on March 15th 1871 as a Paid Fire Department . in 1976 Engine 11 Moved from thier old station to the current station located at 6th and south streets.
