“It was a legitimate pay and part of the human resource terms of Parliament” - This is the response of Parliament relating to the National Unity Platform Party request that Mathias Mpuuga should resign from the Parliamentary Commission.
Chris Obore the Director Communications at the Parliament reveals that the service reward has been perceived wrongly with intentions to malice the reputation of Parliament.
On Thursday, a letter surfaced through the social Media Platforms that Mathias Mpuuga should step down as a member of the Parliamentary commission after receiving the 500 million shillings reward for his then services as the leader of opposition.
However , Mathias Mpuuga has vowed not to step down but rather educate NUP Party members on the operations of Parliament.
You don’t give rewards of that big amount of money when the country has no essential for its citizens to live on. He never even declared it and he agreed to have done a wrong thing
Declare it to who If the parliament rewards people that serve the government then he deserves it

It's ok Esther otherwise it's the vice, but I still believe courts are there to sort out greviences. I don't Condon corruption. If he got the money illegally,then court shall make a verdict and therefore set a precedent which is a civilised way of doing things in areas of contention.

If the money is going to the so called principle it is fine and if it is going to other people they should hand it back. Senyonyi took so many bribes while at PAC. Kyagulanyi has been eating all donations given to him in the name of "fighting for freedom".
