Thanks. The guys who replaced my window kept telling me the regulator (rear/driver side) had to be replaced, for $250, and that the rear/passenger side regulator had to be replaced as well. You saved me 496 bucks . I think I spent under two bucks replacing those little plastic slides. It works just fine. Now I'm a bit more confident, I'll do the other side.
Awesome! Glad it helped!
Great video from start to finish
Thank you! Front window coming soon.
lol i went flying 55 down a bumpy dirt road and that seemed to have corrected this issue for me 😂 it hasn’t happened since
Good fix!
Looks like loads of fun...uggh thanks bro! I'll be grabbing one hopefully this week and the driver's side window is leaning too!
Glad it helps! Once you get into it, it’s super easy! Good luck!
Prepare to break a clip or four.
I gotta do this one one at the shop tomorrow, and change the Motors. Should be fun. The best part is the driver side door panel is really messed up. I'm being sarcastic, it really sucks. I like these cars thought.
Yeah, it’s always a pain. I’ve done the motors years ago and just upgraded/cut things in case I had to do it again going forward. Good luck to you!
Thanks for this video. Very detailed. I have two to do.
Glad I could help
Got my 96 Impala! First thing that happend on the passenger side after 3 times using the window up and down.... SHARK FIN lol guess it comes with it haha
Plans to get it fixed?
@@Twostallgarage yes ofcourse, its a easy fix. Only need to get the parts flew over from the USA to the Netherlands. So im saving up for some more small parts like doorclips and some more stuff
Thanks for the vid. Diving into mine soon as the parts come. Is the AC/Delco piece you mentioned similar to the "Dorman - HELP GM Window Track Guide 74444"?
It is and will work. I actually found mine cleaning the garage today.
@@TwostallgarageYou have the part number for those?
Thank you. Very helpful
Glad it helped.
Exactly the same way I do it… lol👍👍
Best way to get it done.. lol
Can’t wait till some one figures out how to get the rear windows to roll “ALL THE WAY” down . That would be cool to see when one drives by
I would so love that. Only way you could would be to have some kind of flexible glass or glass channel. The quarter panels get in the way. I feel your pain!
One guy installed some funky windows that allowed it. But it looked bad.
Hey bro what was the name of the adhesive sealant to put moisture plastic back on I could not make out what you said

What size self tapping screws did you use?
Believe it was just one I had laying around in a parts bin.
What holds the window glass? I have to replace the driver side rear window
