You could have been talking about me early in this marvelous homily Fr. Mike. I felt like I had no faith at all. Then it changed for me and I came back to the Church and life has been better. I have been praying for a visit from the Holy Spirit and maybe He has come and I just didn't notice. Thank you for the wonderful homily. Recently I was visiting a University in California and it’s very sad to see how these kids wear their sadness their brokenness on their sleeve .
Sure they are smart and all but they walk about empty without life within them.
And it doesn’t help that these professors inject their empty miserable atheists views on them which only makes it worse for them.
This is the time in their lives when they are discovering themselves and the meaning of life.
I spoke with several about Jesus and his saving power and I pray God heals them.
