Just turned 55 and I distinctly remember Nelson Mandela dying in prison. It was all over the news and newspapers. Fruit of the Loom had a cornucopia both in the logo and in the commercials. Forrest Gump told a story about his mother telling him "Life IS like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get". Cosmic brownies had a line down the middle. Raisin Bran sun wore shades. Jackie Robinson is famous for being the first black professional baseball player. I collected baseball cards and have never heard of those other guys. Tinkerbell flew out of the castle, spiralled around, and dotted the i in Disney with her wand. Some weird shit going on.🤔

I also remember reading the Berenstein Bears to my daughter, spelt how I spelled it.

I want to share something with you about prepping. When I was 16 in early 80,s I put forth a question to my parents, uncles, aunts and friends of my parents all of whom survived Ww2., weather fighting like my dad or civilians like my mom. They all lived in Europe at that time. The question I put forth was this. If you knew on the eve of WW2, you were given a choice to live through the war guaranteed and after the war lead a normal life with kids home and a relatively peaceful future, or die on the first day of the war in a nuclear strike. Everyone I asked and there was at least 15 that I asked said they would choose to die in the blast. That is how bad war is to live through so I ask you this Is prepping worth all that?

This is one I agree with. Fruit of the loom definitely had the cornucopia in the logo at at least one point in the past. I think I remember it being that way in the mid late 90s for a brief (pun intended) period though I think it might have been 2000s or closer to the 2010s (though I am fairly certain this happened around the turn of the millennium it might have been earlier. so maybe it was in the late 80s or maybe the mid to late 90s)…
either way I know fruit of the loom is gas lighting us by saying there was never a cornucopia. There surely was a cornucopia but I think the reason why it gets ignored and people can’t seem to find an example was because of how short of a time the logo with the cornucopia was in print and therefore how few items it was printed on.
I remember building a cornucopia in grade school and while we was all working on it the teacher had a picture on the projector of the fruit of the loom logo to give us a reference.

The way that I know for an absolute fact that this is a real thing is the Berenstain Bear books.
When I was a kid, I was obsessed with pronunciation and how to say things correctly. My grandparents could speak Hebrew so I knew that the Jewish names Stein Stain and Stien we're all pronounced differently so I wanted to figure out how to pronounce the book name correctly.
So I knew for an absolute fact how to pronounce it because of the way that it was spelled with an EIN at the end.

My parents are 12 years apart in age so they were not educated together or in the same time frame, and they both remember the Nelson Mandela thing differently with each one of them believing one of the two options.

I remember this distinctly as well, and also remember I was never sure on the correct pronunciation, either sounding like - steen or - stine. I read these books to my kids in the 90s.

All these mandala effect things I remember VIVIDLY‼️There was a tail on Curious George, I had the books when I was a kid. Shaggy had a huge Adam's apple, the cornucopia was there, I watched the Bernstein Bears every Saturday morning, and the FLINTSTONES. I also remember hearing about Nelson Mandala's death in the 80's, it was on the news, and I watched it. I also remember Froot Loops, I watched the original Star Wars in the theater when it came out. Darth Vader said "Luke, I am your father". REAL ONE FOR REAL‼️

I'm 55 years old. I'm also a combat hardened marine vet. They won't let me join back up, you had better pray they don't. My heart is dead, and when people my age are called upon to defend the nation, you guys crying about a draft will already be buried. When people like me are put back into service, we destroy everything. I know my life is almost over, less than 20 years left, nothing much to lose on a bad day, but my body is still combat ready, and I am the baddest motherf***er in the godd**n valley, even death runs from me. I pray young people can accomplish their mission, so I won't have to do mine.

Great video as always. For those who want to know, the Australasian thing is not a mandela effect. Australasia includes Australia, New Zealand, and some neighbouring islands in the Pacific Ocean. Therefore it is not just Australia it is including those regions. I get why people are confused because we don't really use the term often. We normally just talk about our individual countries.
