It's the final adventure of the year in my Ferrari 360!
The car has just turned 20 years old and to mark that fact, I take it back to the factory where it was made ... and stop off in Monaco on the way.

Been using a wireless charging Quadlock for a year or so, they're brilliant! Also have a bike and a running strap mount too👌
4 years.. you won’t find better car mounts
RAM mounts also pretty good. Quite a bit more money though.
With the Quadlock case fitted to the phone, will it still work with Qi charging pad? Or will the mount on the phone be in the way? My bedside alarm clock has a Qi charging pad on top which I use frequently.
@@HammerRocks been using a Anker Wireless Pad next to my bed and charges fine
Monaco to Italy montage was sublime, Sam.
Great to hear! Was an awesome drive
It's funny how young people think 20 years is a long time , I was 30 when that car was made and it seems like yesterday .
20year old car is old, left or right!
That’s a quarter of life expectancy on average in the uk, of course it’s a long time
Because they are young and you are old
That's how age and time works.
@@paddymuppy Actually you're only old if you surrender to it , most people I meet on a day-to-day basis think I'm in my early thirties even though I am 50 . That's probably because I didn't get married and settle down like most people .
@@Shadowband72 Unfortunately you are old, like it or not.
Congratulations Sam, I wish you thousands of more miles of happy motoring with your 360. As a happy owner myself of a 360 for last 16 years, I understand your joy, your pride and what it means to own a prancing horse. Cheers 🍻
I’m really proud of you Sam and I am sure all of your other supporters are too.
Congrats on 50k miles! I am SO glad someone is driving their 360 for real miles. I have a NSX that’s about to turn 100k miles (or in Honda World, “finally broken in” 🤣) and that I also take on road trips. Keep driving, Sam! Beautiful car, and hello from the USA.
Nice! Yeah, my 2014 Volvo S60 broke 100K a few months ago (also considered "broken in" in Volvo world)! 😁
Man the 360 has aged so well I can be believe the 360 is twenty years old love the video
The ferrari 360 got me into the cars Superspeeder is the OG.
Aged well? You mean the design or sams car? If it’s the car it’s like triggers broom. 🤣🤣
The 430 is nicer imo but the 360 is decent. The design lacks a bit of complexity but better than the F8.
Your cinematography is awesome. Especially the type of music exactly matches the scenes you shoot. Epic, absolutely epic. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Jaunting down through France in your Ferrari, making a stop over at Monaco and then heading through Italy is certainly an experience.
Funny how 50k is a big deal for a Ferrari, but a Porsche owner would say it's barely broken in.
Always a pleasure seeing the 360!
Glad you think so
So great to meet you in Monaco! Thank you for including my photo in the video of the 360, what an honor!
Great to meet you! Can't wait to share your photos on Instagram.
At 10:30 you spotted GMK, he's a very big monegasque based youtuber with a fairly large car collection !
It's great quad locks fit on bikes too! Defo a good product 👍 well done Sam.
10:28 this guy in the Lambo is a pretty big youtuber (1.72M subs) : GMK. You can check out his channel he did a lap of Monaco circuit in his car during the F1 week, but the catch is that the Prince Of Monaco was driving the car. Of course, it's in French and I'm not sure there are subtitles.
Funny you do a phone mount promotion...I've been struggling a lot finding a good phone mount for ages. They all seem the same; dull, fimsy, unable to handle the weight of a phone (and if they can, it seems to go wrong after a few months). I'm 100% going to try Quadlock.
Awesome vlog. Wish that there was more B-Roll from mountains towering over Monaco and Italy. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
I made this trip in my Dino, back in the late 70's.
They weren't so touchy about you parking by the arch in those days 😎
What an epic trip that must have been! Very cool. Do you still own the Dino?
@@seenthroughglass The car was faultless both ways....no air con though in those days.
No, sadly it was sold for a 365 GTC/4 - it made around £5250 I seem to remember at the time....a profit on what I paid for it, but seems utter madness now (it was a flares and chairs GTS as well)
I was at the yacht show Sam so you were there same time. Shame I never saw you. If you want to know more about the yachts let me know.
Sorry we missed you in Monaco, send us a DM next time you're in town and you can drive the Super Yacht Captain Lambo.
Not a Clio Williams Sam, that was just a Clio with gold wheels 😂 , you need to nerd up on your hot hatches :)
The 360 is growing more and more on me. Really ages so well, and I already thought it was a stunning car.
What is this vídeo omg !!
From the shots, the soundtracks, and that timelapse over Mónaco! God how amazing!
Keep this good stuff coming Sam.
Cheers from Portugal
Sold my 360 with 56k miles, during pandemic for GT3. Miss that car! You go man, 100k!!!
Why do I pay for TV licence when I can watch brilliant videos like this for free !!!! Love the videos!!!!
It was the famous youtuber @GMK at 10:29 in the SVJ
Really good film Sam
Comment before watching the video.... I've been waiting for this one!!
Hope you enjoy!
@@seenthroughglass I did very much!! Amazing moment too hit that 50k thank you for bringing us along ✌
The time lapse shot of Monaco going from dusk to dark is incredible.
Absolutely live this video. Your enthusiasm for your beloved 360 resonates with me so much.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I've been using Quadlock on my MTB for years.Has never fell off yet....Ha!...Quality
This video does it for me. Sights, Cars, Monaco, Italy, music. All wonderful making for a great video.
That car needs another gear for highway cruising.
Love the travel vids 😍😍
I wasn't cheering in my kitchen out loud when it crossed 50k miles. I don't know what you're talking about.
I've been using Quad Lock in my car and on the bikes since forever and also casing saved my phone many times when i dropped it, so yeah, I can confirm Quad Lock is a great mount/case product, cool to see they sponsored you :) Great video as always Sam!
The point in the beginning you said hit home, cars are supposed to be driven! I bought an older Mustang GT last year and I take it out and put down those miles!
This was such a wholesome video I smiled all throughout watching it 🥰
Congrats on 50k! She looks so beautiful Just hit 25k on my ‘02 360 almost the exact same spec as yours. Except for tubi exhaust and paddleshift.
I don't know how you do it but these videos just seem to get better and better, thankyou for the content Sam, Always a nice way to end the day...
Congratulations on de 50k and happy many more to come! Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 😀
Awesome travel vlog, thank you very much Sam! Beautiful scenery captured in the suave STG style, well done and give us more please :-)) Thanks chief, nice one indeed 👍😎
I've always made it a mission to upgrade my Vettes, I've owned six and loved them all but always wanted to "keep up" but this video was the "last nail" My current (AND LAST) Vette is my 2014 Torch Red C7 1LT 7MT Z51 Convertible (black wheels and calipers) with 17, 890 miles. I've modded it nicely between the easy performance upgrades (CAI, short shift kit and exhaust) and some cosmetic mods (Z06 grill, front and side skirts, underflow vanes added in the rear, valence, various interior mods such as red knobs, armrest and a few carbon fiber bits capped off by my new d-shaped wheel, carbon fiber, with red leather and built in digital displays. She's paid for, and I've owned her now for four years. I started looking at C8's and have a good enough relationship with my dealer, the sales manager had a nice base 2020 with 6,000 miles that he would sell for list (well, something good from buying all those Vettes) and giving me 47.5K for mine (I paid 52K i n 2018 with 4.5K on the odo). This is the longest I've ever owned a Vette and, partially after watching this video, I've decided this is it. Besides losing the manual and the conv, it came down to being 67 years old and deciding, today, that I've got my "carmate". Will I still drool? Of course! I love my bride of 42 years but I still "admire" the site of an attractive woman.....nuff said and thanks for the assist!
Sam, The Tomaso P72 will start be delivered mid 2023 I have been told by the manager.
Also to know all are sold/spoke for. The development is still ongoing (close to Nurnburgring) and the heavy (=weight) V8 of Ford will be replaced by inhouse build V12 of less 130KG!!!!! The total weight (wet, including 100Lit of fuel) will be around 1280KG, hypercar county
The development is also structural as badyparts are made honeycone carbon and suspension is improved.
It can really drive on the road to the race track and race as is (and win)... The legacy of Enzo.
Hi Sam, if you want to learn about boats may I recommend the AQUAHOLIC channel by Nick.
Through his compendium of videos you will learn everything you need to know about boats/yachts, and some things you didn’t need to know.
Have fun!
It's funny how many small details people don't notice if they are only watching the video like how much a microphone can improve the video's quality and also the color grading, planning the script for the video and putting all those clip in the right way in order to make a proper story that's catchy for the people.
I didn't realize this until I started doing youtube videos myself.
Anyway.. great video as always. I'm still waiting for the day I'll film my very first supercar.
Great vid, thanks. It's funny you said about your 360 and Monaco - I was on holiday in the South of France in September '99 and spent a day in Monaco, and saw my first 2 360s.
The first was a Grigio Alloy coupe just outside Monaco, then a Rosso Corsa coupe parked outside a dealer in the middle of town.
Also, it's great you use it - the memories are real...you won't get memories looking at it in a Carcoon doing zero miles. My parents bought a new Mondial QV in August '84 - sold it 18 months later with 14000 miles. It never missed a beat, and every mile was done for pleasure. On the continent they tend to use their Ferraris much more than we do in the UK.
Got my 14 plate AM Roadster nearly 4 years ago with 25k miles on it and just clocked over 50k this year! Considering COVID was in the middle of all that, not bad a effort :P goal is to get a coupe manual 430 to join it, if I can ever afford it and if any actually go back on sale haha
You never let us down with video's like this Sam. You must of been very proud returning your car to its homeland once again.
Producing this video seems like a labour of Love! Must have taken days to film and edit
Sam... Pronouncing Schumacher is not SchumacKer but SchumaRer.
PLEASE. 😉
I shipped my CS from America to Maranello for inspection and classiche ..... Love the car
I appreciate it's a necessary plug but, why does anyone fuss about a phone mount? Old school so much better. Don't take a phone. Listen to the engine or music. Maybe, goodness knows, chat to your passenger. Enjoy the scenery. Look at a map when you need directions.
A simpler, happier life.
I think the Ferrari 296GTB is the best thing since the 458. I look forward to your thoughts.
Sam, I'm doing this trip next year from Cambridge UK, any tips and info would be much appreciated. Great video by the way.
Hey Sam I ove your videos but just one question, how can you manage those long trips? Do you prepare somehow with your legs? Or something else?
Wondering, did I really see a Brit with some good taste? But PLEASE: DON´T CHANGE THE CAR!
Love this channel, Great job, Sam.
Question: If you use your phone for navigation does it not eat into your data?? Many thank, if anyone replies. :)
I haven’t watched you for. A while sam I missed your passion for the prancing horse bravo grazie grazie Mille ciao ciao
Completely agree with putting miles on cars. Does them no good being sat in a garage! Got my DB9 2 months ago, in the first 2 weeks it went down to the south of France and back. Prefer to drive in France now, the roads and the scenery are amazing, Italy next year!
At your time in MC the most beautiful car was the red dino 246. And I believe that the 360 is the modern model which is the most influenced design by the 246.
Loved the video! Also, QuadLock is indeed THE best phone holder. Been using it on my motorcycle for some time now; nothing comes close to the quality.
I need to do this with my BMW E90 325i which has done just over 399,000 miles. Not sure it will get to Munich!
Sam, at the end of your video you're wearing some very nice sunglasses. Are those from the Ray-Ban Ferrari collection that Luxotica rolled out a couple years ago? I have a frameless pair of R-B F sunglasses that I love.
9:51 casually spotting another automotive youtuber in the SVJ (GMK)
Been watching a couple of years now Sam. Your content is natural and first notch. Can’t stand watching the rest of car UA-cam tracksuit wearing peasants 😂
Great series with 360, so glad there are people like you and Tim Burton who like to document cars being driven and clocking up the mileage.
Finally some Quadlock love, couldn’t be without mine for the car, motorbike and road bicycle.
Somehow getting strong 007-wibes from the Monaco footage. Great job Sam once again!💯👏
IMO this 360 lovestory (no other word for it) is probably the best car content in a series on youtube. I hope you'll never sell it and if you'll ever get a CS it'll be an addition rather than replacement.
I use quad lock in the car on my mountain bike and on my arm when running. They’re ace. The phone case is hardy as well, I’ve ridden over it and ripped the phone numerous times with no damage. They’re expensive but worth it…
Great video Sam!! I feel the same way as you about Monaco, as cliché as i sounds there is something special about it. Now we finally did something about it and bought an apartment in Cap-Martin, the neighbour of Monaco with much better prices on real estate. Send a text if you ever need a place to stay, and there is a garage.
Good to see the 50k marker. My 575M had due 65000 kms and is in great shape. They go so much better if driven. Great video.
I love your enthusiasm for Ferrari - I suspect you have the jackets & t shirts as well (I see the boat hat). We can start a cult ha. Happy driving.
Registered on 26th of September ?!
That’s my birthday! 👌😂❤
Congratulations on the 50,000miles.
If you are going for the Highest Mileage 360, do you know what the current highest mileage one is or even could be. Might need a few phone calls round the Dealers to find out. Aim high then go Higher.
I know of one with close to 200,000
Was awesome to speak to you in Maranello last week! You're right it's an amazing place and the ferrari blood definitely runs in their veins 😀
I hope you had a chance to drive into the Modenese mountains, great drive and if you arrived in Serramazzoni, La Fontanina is a great place to eat, and not very expensive. On the drive past the main gates, I trust you stopped and said hi to Silvano Toni, one of the great independents !!!
Sam, not sure you might need to check new rules coming into place regarding having mobile phones in cars. I believe it's going to be illegal even if mounted to use and touch your mobile phone.
Apologies if I have got this wrong.
I have a Quad Lock for my mountain bike. Aside from having to switch cases, it’s awesome.
Another great video Sam, your videos are really top notch. Your Italian accent needs some work though 🤣
I'm only on 35,000 on my 360cs but have seen many 360 with over 100,000 and running like new
My 2004 360 Spider is at 130‘000kms. Yours will easily run at 100k!
Hmm... Changes need to be made to the car to last in the future? Do I hear Model S donor car and 360e in the works?
50 thousand km's YAAYYY... scene then cuts to filling up the tank haha 😆😅❤
That makes me want to shut-off my computer and drive to Italy so much... Great video 👍
How do you get that footage around the 13 minute mark as you’re leaving Monaco where it looks like a drone is following you??? Is that shot from a chase car or from some cool piece of tech?
Congratulations Sam, great job setting a lofty goal and nailing it in a way that clearly has left you feeling enthusiastic for the next adventure.
Love the fact a 'Williams Clio' stopped and made you look. epic and grounded.
This video is why the prices of 360s have gone up so much. The days of getting one for 60k US is over.
I agree with you Sam we are all but custodians of cars and we love them for the memories we shared and experienced in them. Not locked up in a garage somewhere driven for a service to put back in a garage. Cars are never a good investment there are many better things to put your money into, people use that as a excuse to buy them.. but generally speaking a very poor investment
No video planned with GMK in Monaco ? You filmed him in his Lamborghini 😄
Enjoyed that - thanks!
Quad lock recommendation great, but as a coffee man what is the cupholder solution Sam?
Fantastic video Sam it’s brilliant that you’ve driven your 360 and not “garage queened” it, owning a Ferrari and not driving it on great roads would be a terrible thing.
Driving a future classic like that, respect man. Also a great video!
LOve my quad lock, only case and lock that works. Unlike a Ferrari
Love the footage leaving France. Nicely done. Great music!
Delightful to see a Ferrari being driven as intended and not kept as a low mileage investment. Great video as well, Sam.
I hit 50k in my M5 this year…great to see cars being driven rather than kept locked up in museums
Awesome video Sam as per, but are we going to see any of the Tag Heuer x Porsche content from Paris?
