Installing 1" NPT Top Fitting and Anchor Cone

It is recommended to use the Titan Logix supplied 1” NPT top fitting and anchor cone when installing your TD Series System.
Top of Tank
1. Drill a hole on the top of the tank. This is indicated by the manufacturing or installation drawings.
2. Measure the thickness of your tank. This value is required when programming your TD100 Transmitter.
Tip: The tank manufacturer also includes the tank thickness on a tank plate attached to the tank if you are unable to get this measurement.
3. Ensure the top fitting position allows the probe to hang vertically in the tank and directly above the anchor cone.
4. Weld the 1” NPT top fitting to the tank top.
Bottom of Tank
1. Ensure that the anchor cone is aligned above where the top fitting was just welded.
2. Weld the anchor cone in place.
