This final battle occurs only if you've collected all 7 Chaos Emeralds and cleared the X-Zone as Sonic. The mad, bad Doc has escaped to the Moon (seemingly not destroyed) and only Super Sonic is fit to give chase in the low-gravity environment. - Ігри

I remember playing this back in 2006 and only having Tails reach Cosmic Angel because I don't know how to beat Egg Snake.
Fast Forward to 2010 because I can play the game on my own, I had to grind everyday until I memorized the entire stages without drowning, and getting all Chaos Emeralds, reaching this for the very first time is the proud moment.
I was playing on Nokia 6670 at the time, too.
The reason the moon is seemingly intact? It was actually the dark side- the part that can't be seen from Earth- that got demolished.
The only reason is that nobody at Sonic Team cares about a canon timeline
No , Sonic Advance 1 takes place before Sonic Adventure 1 and Sonic Advance 2 takes place before Sonic Adventure 2 .
Just like how Master System Sonic 1 takes before Genesis Sonic 1 .

They're are multiple moons visible at the same time in Advance 3, Riders and Superstars.
Why don’t they just use the chaos emeralds to fix it.
Back when Chaos Emeralds were an optional and you could finish the game without them and without reciving a bad ending.

It actually took a lot of work since I had to use an extremely niche upscaling program "Virtualdub" that didn't have a time line and I had to manually edit using frame numbers. Everything else would have been lossy and low res otherwise. Wow this takes me back down memory lane in high school.
To even unlock The Moon Zone, you first have to beat the game with all four characters, and it is mandatory that on your second run-through with Sonic, that you get all 7 Chaos Emeralds. They can be found in the following zones:
1: Neo Green Hill Zone Act 1
2: Secret Base Zone Act 2
3: Casino Paradise Zone Act 1
4: Ice Mountain Zone Act 1
5: Ice Mountain Zone Act 2
6: Angel Island Zone Act 2
7: Egg Rocket/Cosmic Angel Zone Act 2

Wrong. You do have to beat the game with everyone atleast one time. But you can collect the emeralds at any point before that since they’re shared with all characters. The only difference is, if you collect all the emeralds before finishing sonics story the first time it won’t unlock the moon until you beat the final boss a second time.
@@sean1oo1you mean if I get the emeralds before completing the game as all characters, I won’t be granted access to the extra boss if I beat the final boss as Sonic for the first time?

If Super Sonic's so fast, why did it take him "a few days" to get back to Earth?
He can fly from the Earth's atmosphere to the moon in a couple of seconds at 5:10.
What the heck is with this plot hole?
The moon is approximately 238,900 miles away from the earth that's why it took him a little while to get back to earth. Also a positive came out of it though this shows he can keep his form up at least a week.
@Marcus Mayo; But that doesn't answer my question on how he got their in a short amount of time.
And nobody really knows how he was even to keep his Super form in that time. He probably found a bunch of ring throughout space. If anything, it's more of a stamina feat.
@@whyareyouviewingthis No it was experience. Like how goku learned to keep up his super saiyan form up for a week in the hyperbolic time chamber in Dbz sonic learned to keep up his super form up for a week as well as you seen in the ending. Now why it took a week to get back to earth Idk maybe sonic team wanted it to be more dramatic I guess either that or sonic was cleaning up the mess eggman made(his base I mean) and destroying it for good.

@@whyareyouviewingthis Well keep in mind that sonic has been in his super state extended periods of time this was shown in sonic 2 that sonic was in space ( the explosion of death egg)in his super form and sonic 3&knuckles which takes about a week from sonic 2 into 3 where sonic was started to get the hang of the super form in that short time period( he didn't master it yet) which is why knuckles easily knocked it out of him and he was space twice with it and at the end of sonic 3 he mastered it completely as he was flying after eggman into space at doomsday zone. Edit also sonic was recently in space after his battle with the biolizard since advance 1 takes after adventure 2.

When you used the tails tag along feature during the extra zone sequence I imagined a scenario where tails just fucking dies because there is no one to grab him with tornado lol
Played this game all the time as a kid and could never unlock The Moon Zone. Simply put, I did not know all the Special Stage locations nor was I good at playing them. Though I sold my original copy of the game and GBA, I recently got a new copy and system and used it as an opportunity to beat the game 100%. As of last night (8/6/2023) when writing this comment, I finally unlocked the true ending and can finally say I've fully beaten an Advance game. I now feel like a committed Sonic fan!

@@smartass643 Unfortunately, no, but I could probably go for doing 100% in Advance 3 before doing the same with Advance 2. People say 2 is near impossible with bloated requirements.

i just find this particularly funny
well, outside of games, super state doesn't require rings in order to be maintained, since Sonic is able to sustain it for how long is necessary. In games, ring consumption is the obvious trade-off you get for being able to cheese the game and the boss fights.
