Some of the worst looking product I’ve ever seen. Was excited for Topps to take back over but already no different than panini, being money hungry and not waiting for a license.

Topps Chrome and Composite are just flooding the market with Wemby and Cj Stroud, Anthony Richardson, Bryce Young autos. I just cant believe they brought it back after 13 years and it be unlicensed. Thats like buying some Jordan shoes but they aint got the jumpman on them. Idk man

Against my better judgement I opened a hobby box yesterday and first pack I pulled a Wemby autograph redemption.

You can hit your base and refractor Wemby of course but the ceiling is super low on retail in this particular product.

It's been a year since the last time I bought a box of Basketball Cards. Saw the Blaster Box of these at Lids this afternoon for $29 and got lucky on a Pink Basketball Roundball Royalty Wemby RC. 🎉

Price sucks, pic choice sucks on some cards, BUT base wembys are the smalltime HIT, this set and player is way too iconic and going to be 50-100$ raw for years if he doenst break an ankle. His inserts look cool as well and should hold good value even with massive pop count.
Everyone hating but this is the ONLY product (regardless retail/hobby) where you have a moderately high chance to make your money back. The easy to find wembys pay for the entire lot spent. Demand is way to high, just like his prizm true rookie card. His team has nowhere to go but up, his level of play is still going up, and speculation is still going up even after a year.
@@andrewg5672 But the Wemby base is already down to $25 and Topps huge orders for Megas haven’t even been shipped yet? I’m just not sure a retail base card can sustain a value these days.
@@bustinboxes I agree i dont think a retail base cards should hold value these days. But i think there are few outliers that will hold up. This might be one of them! we both know every basketball HOF during the late 90s and 2000s most expensive card amongst nearly every single player is their chrome rc card.
Even if the wemby goes down abit, certain points of the season it will peak 2-3x as high again because he is an active player. Allstar appearance, if they make a playoff spot, if he puts up 40-20, if he breaks an obsure record it will constantly peak at slightly higher levels if hes playing. If you are in the cards for the long game to sell, there is some small upside as a hold, and his cards look pretty good as a lowend collectible-- Your right not a major hit, but not the worst!

I know Westbrook isn't a fan favorite but I pc the guy and that first mega was fire for me lol I think in ten to fifteen years these packs will be worth a mint too bad topps didn't get the license for nba
Straight garbage all around the cards look horrible the odds are horrible
Crazy to think this and composite are made by the same company
If offered for free I'd rather take one composite blaster to 4 of these megas

@@Shhhiippp Ya this is a one time deal strictly because people need to know how bad these are on the odds show hits are basically impossible…maybe I should change it to buyer beware.
