I believed the FUD (Edit) and didn't invest until January last year. No profits is not a bad thing on its own. My best description is like when you move house, there's expenses (investment) for new decorations, furniture, locks, fixing up outside, if you're married - more decorating, bigger council tax and you can't put money in a savings account (Profit) with additional expenses (investment). Then as time goes on over the next few years there's little additional spending (most investment done now just running costs) and you can get back to saving money (Profit).

Then few more data analytics companies went public. Not long after that IBM bought Netezza company and I sold my shares. So when PLTR announced going public I did not want to miss out. I buy almost 3x a week. 👍

this platform works really well for companies in this current global climate. The pandemic has caused a lot of companies to allow their employees to work from home, creating a whole new set of technical hurdles because of the distance between associates. Software like this helps big corporations to meet these hurdles.

My only question from a layman’s view is how quickly will AI either enhance or replace this company. I will say this, the CEO’s mindset is admirable and almost religious in the technical sense. That is refreshing and attractive as an investor. The one other thing I liked is the ‘creating platforms before someone knows it’s needed’ concept constantly being reinforced. And third was: ‘don’t invest if your looking for a company that compromises it’s standards for a buck”. So I’d like to be the next person to coin and be credited for Palantir’s future slogan... “Data = Power = Palantir”. Hope they use it and with that I’m sure I’ll be adding this one to my portfolio.
With Biden coming in as president, I dont see as much Government money going to Government contracts that deal with security, and illegal immigration. And with the stock trading at a valuation 30× its one year earnings, I dont see another double up coming any time in the near future

Gotham is an amazing software. Very intuitive. Literally use it everday. Just a very powerful tool to connect different units and cuts down on misinformation. I think the biggest gain from it though would have to be the ease of communication from top down and bottom up. Something all militaries struggle in. IMO its the future of warfighting.

I've been developing software and in the software business for over 20 years. Never in my life have I seen a 1 hour video, with so many people talking about absolutely nothing..
I don't see any reference to blockchain technology in any of their product descriptions. They do maintain records of who made changes to data and they archive prior versions. They also prevent access by unauthorized personnel. Since Gotham works with classified information they probably have to support encrypted data, but I'm inferring that, I haven't seen that in their product descriptions.
Really glad I managed to get in at IPO. It is obvious that this is a buy with both the fundamentals and technicals.
