Kazi Nazrul Islam, the National poet of Bangladesh was heavily influenced by the Turkish & Persian culture along with native Bengali since he fought for British Raj in WW1 in that area, the tempo of this Ghazal reminds me that, also a pinch of Spanish flamenco and Balkan gypsy jazzy ambience make amazing and the singer Ritu Raj just perfected it. This is a literal example of a fusion. Your and mine analysis are very similar haha :)
This gazal/gospel was written by *Kazi Nazrul Islam* who is the national poet of Bangladesh. He stayed quite a few months in a landlord’s house at Becharam Dewri Road in Old Dhaka. Inside the big arena of that house there was a beautiful flower garden. Nazrul observed beautiful black birds called “Bulbuli” always play around in the garden. So one day he wrote this amazing melodious ghazal/gospel.
Yes, a piece of very classical music presented with a bit of Jazz, Flamingo influence. Nandita's part was a representation of contemporary Bangla music style. The fusion is so beautiful.
O my God! It's not Indian not Pakistani. The language is Bengali & the song(Gazal/Gospel) was written by Nazrul, the national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam of Bangladesh, 70/80 years ago. And ya, the composition is done by Arnob, Bengali Musician. He did create a fantastic fushion.

Many people from around the world came to Bangladesh for business in past and also ruled Bangladesh. So that's why Bangladesh has a mixed culture. From Turkish, Persian to England,European many culture. Also Indian and Bengali culture is common.
Interessante essa fusão de estilos, as referências meio que ficam difusas ... Talvez porque a técnica e o talento são arrebatadores! Muito bom este react!
You are amazing!! you got it so right man!! especially the Balkan sensing is 100% correct, also about the traditional music sensing and the time, it was written in between 1920=1940, almost 100 years ago by the Poet of revolution in Bengali lit. Kazi Nazrul Islam, Although Bengali culture and lit. was having its renaissance period that but lacking some elements like gazal in urdu. So he started composing gazals in Bangla language and he mixed automan/balkan traditional tunes. and yes some alteration of music has been done in the coke studio as well.
Toque instrumental original , vocal deslumbrante performance , uma mistura rítmica sem perder as características próprias , uma energia forte de sonoridade incrível e rica de beleza encantadora !
Bangladesh, india and Pakistan were one big country before getting devided, that's why you see similarity of indian and Pakistani sounds in Bangladeshi music. We were also under the sultan and mughal rule who were from middle east. That's why you see the mix.

It is classic, because this song's lyrics are totally from a legendary poem written by National poet of Bangladesh 'Kazi Nazrul Islam' before 1970. So you have to use subtitles to know the true beauty of this song ❤️

this song is written and composed by our national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam based on pure classical raag genre. Of course this rendition is a fusion very successfully done. I would appreciate if you mention Bangladesh when appreciating and commenting. thank you again for your comments and support.
This type of singing is called "gazal". You are a genius while understanding music. The Main composer of the song, National poet of Bangladesh "Kazi Nazrul Islam" attended 1st world war as a soldier (Lance Naik). He was deployed at the middle eastern front (Mesopotamian campaign). During that time he was highly influenced by middle eastern music style. I can suggest you to listen a special song written and composed by (Kazi Nazrul Islam) named "Momer putul" (ua-cam.com/video/jaav7T_vcTk/v-deo.html). The song is written on Egypt and Nile river.
Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam maybe the National Poet of Bangladesh. He was Born in my city of Asansol, West Bengal and hence the airport here is named after Kazi Nazrul Islam. I love his work and i love this song!!
