So these songs were ready from 1979, that is why Metallica were covering the "Let it Loose" song in their demo from March 1982. They had already bought the demo, I suppose, somewhere in 1980 or 1981.

lars bought a compilation album called Scene of the Crime which featured Let it Loose and Dirty Money. Took it back to SF and started playing both
