Simulations were best 4 of 7 of a best 4 of 7. Meaning, it was based on today's playoff series, and the sims were the same.
I used whatifsports.com for the simulations and the 2017 Warriors bested the 95-96 Bulls 4-2, and had more blowout series, with the Bulls blowing the 3-1 lead in Sim 5.

I would take away the home court advantage for the sim, and of 123 simulations, the Bulls won 59 again, while the Warriors won 64 times.
