Wardens have notoriously been pretty lacking in Creatures of Sonaria, but they received a 50% increase in their Wardens Rage damage, but is it enough to bring them up to speed? So to test it out, I played the Ardor Warden and saw how it faired and ranked it at at the end. I'll be making a video on all of the Wardens in the future.
(generally its just my opinion that wardens havent been very good, but if you thought different that's ok! It's very difficult to objectify a creatures strength.)

Fun fact wardens were buffed because erythia wanted her boreal to beat a kora lol
Make Sense, They're a Literal Guardian of the World Afterall (and then, everybody play wardens).
im glad boreal can now take on a kora since the price & rarity is crazy just for the cheaper one to be better
Erythia is a brat, also I don’t think Boreal should be able to kill a kora, since kora is more buff and muscular and the boreal is skinny
actually kora can still beat boreal if he used his abilities
@@LzeniX In the canon, the wardens we play aren't the real wardens, just small weak reflections of them. The real ones are not even there. So wardens being weak still making sense in canon

Fun fact: the wardens in og dmg is normal when they released recode they got buffed cause they saw how weak the wardens dmg is now they buffed it 💪

0:41 - Ardor can Win Korathos because Athulyth drop it at the Korathos Tail, Korathos tail whip in recode only deal 175 Damage and that is why you did not die immediately
1:19 - You are correct, Berserk active at 20% HP the real fun begin when you know that This Attack Rate Buff can Stack with Bloodmoon Attack Rate Buff which end up at 5 Hit Per Second Result in over 6,000 DPS
2:17 - Reason that Ardor cannot solo Kora were because of “Positional” Reason, You can beat Kora because you can reach their back with a Help of Athulyth, Without that Ardor will melt (and can actually be grab) by kora
3:21 - Never do that, Grab will Beat the hell out of you
3:53 - Day Time Hygos got 1,200 Base Damage Per Bite, Not a Wise Decision jumped it at that time
6:12 - The Venuella is not fully grow and that is why athu can grab it
7:40 - Hellion > Ardor
8:01 - Angelic is Garbage, Piss Weight no debuff, Garra also not suitable for combat
Hellion is a monster, Verdant is middle, Novus only made for survive, Don’t you dare waste you 3,000 Mush for something that can’t beat ardor, Boreal is an Absolute God, Nothing stand a Chance against it.

I’m glad to have watched this video, because my friend the other day was being KOSed repeatedly by a hellion warden and I suggested stepping in to help them with my full grown kora, but they literally screamed at me to stay away and it would just get me killed 😂 I was so confused because I was sure I could beat it, but I ended up not doing it after all. Thank god!

Really happy about the warden buffs, considering Garra is one of my fav creatures!
They really made the wardens lore accurate
Ngl would love to see more attack animations like soo many creatures got swords for claws or anky tails or stingers like give them a use instead of just aesthetic.. in addition the map still needs a bit of tweakin for ex: vines in swamp being a solid object, lava not being lava.. other minor tweaks like creature weights, stamina, abilities, food\water hitboxes

ardor with berserk and blood moon buff at max wrage: im about to eviscerate you.

ardor: yes.
Wardens have become quite strong as they now do 1000% more dmg instead of 700%
They are also immune to breath for some reason (I don't think it's an oversight)
We may also get a new semi/aquatic warden from summer paradise event
Wardens were pretty easy to take advantage of in the main game but in recode...
Here are the Wardens rage changes (currently both a passive and an active but probably will be fixed soon)
Immunity to ALL status conditions (except starving and dehydration I believe)
1000% more damage at 50%
Bite cooldown increase removed (I might be wrong so correct me if I am)
Active ability with 30 second cooldown (nerfed from 10 seconds)
Stops hp regen when active (pretty easy to bypass since you can just switch it off)
I believe the best warden now is either boreal or hellion, boreal has defensive frostbite but is pretty helpless against anything stronger than it as well as having a bad turn now making it easy to anklebite (anything with frostbite immunity or fortify spells trouble)
Hellion warden is weaker but more mobile and can destroy anklebiters with tail whip and hell's fear. I'd say ardor is in 3rd place
garra is an absolute powerhouse now
And now hellion lost it's hell's fear ability :(
fun fact ardor warden has a bug where if u get 100 rage and get hit while its off the u do 750% without using ability and when you activate it you do 1500% for a second really op

Yeah, it is OP only if it not have so low weight that a lot creature deal more damage to it, plus it is a carnivore with no redeemable strength so hunting is hell with it, of course it is OP but in term of survival game, it just bad, Hellion are a Diffrent Story because it can actually hunt something (you may say angelic can fly, but you know it weird when literal angel stick with just 2.8k Weight fly slower than Athulyth who are Made of Pure Debris and have over 30k more weight than it).
@@LzeniXdoesnt athulyth have 8 flight speed💀 sure angelic is. a little slow but its nothing unbearably fixable besides,its not like cos was ever great at the "survival' aspect when you have infinite sources around the map, everything that isnt a photovore is gonna. struggle just as much if it doesnt have something a tier less than it avalible to kill

So now that we all know that ardor is one of the strongest creatures now. I would like to say stocking up on 8 species to sell was a worthwhile investment.

from what i see facing kora from back is the best way to kill it cause it does insane bite dmg

Athu is brokenly op in recode.... So is opra, it's flight speed got buffed.
Now it makes more sence wardens are supposted to be the gods of COS not jokes or targets,for me they can continue be buffed because it would make more sence if they were the most op creatures.

I choked a gara as a 2 mins old crab crabs hit box is fixed in recode and recode is free rn gara is weak and if u wann PvP a kora attack at its tail its tail got debited and if u elder creatures ubcn get en to age 2oo and vins breath is cracked in recode it's 500 DMG to Kora's andd crabs idk what it does to boreal hope this helps

They increased the stats of the most broken and buggy creatures in the game. For the sacrifice of a few years you can stack warden rages permanently and now they buffed it so now rage stack faster. Wardens are the most perfectly unbalanced creatures in game up to date. And it’s worse. Now I’m not sure if they patched the bug but it’s very obscure and may cause the game to crash.
