Hi, thanks for this video. I have a question please. I did my biometrics last week Sept 28 on priority visa service (with my proof of funds still in my account). Friday is a public holiday in Nigeria and the center at Ikeja is rumoured to always delay. My POF will be removed by the agent on the 5th of October (making 45days in my account). Do I need to extend my POF when I'm yet to get UKVI response ?
If you can extend your POF please do, cos you don’t really know at what point the process will be completed. You can also track the process on the TLS website. If it’s being sent back to TLS already, then it means they have made the decision and it’s safe to remove the funds.

You will be told what format of document should be uploaded, usually pdf should be fine. All the amounts you should pay will be visible on the payment page.

The interview for visa is done at the Embassy and the outcome is usually between 3days and 3weeks depending on the type of service you used. If the UK conducts an interview for any reason, I’m not sure what it would be for and you should ask them the timeline for the outcome.

You can provide evidence of your accommodation, may be a letter from the house owner saying you will be living there rent free. This might not be mandatory but might support your case. I really don’t know if you need the prove for each year.
There shouldn’t be a problem, especially since it’s your dad, I guess with same surname. You may still need a letter to explain the circumstances to leave no room for confusion.

If it’s a one year course, you should apply for a new passport but if it’s more than one year, you can renew your passport in 2024 then. It shouldn’t affect your visa.

Just wait as you have been directed. Don’t submit the visa application until you have met the deadline, then pay and submit. You should be fine 👍

You can withdraw the money, but I usually advise people to leave the money until the visa is out, just to be safe.

So my course would be ending September 2024 but my passport is expiring July 2024 do you think that can affect my visa
If it’s a one year course, you should apply for a new passport but if it’s more than one year, you can renew your passport in 2024 then. It shouldn’t affect your visa.
