Hey guys, remember to subscribe, like the video, and comment. Help Kevin keep motivated to keep posting. I love watching him for his love of animals and wealth of knowledge. His personality pulls u in. Let's let him know he doesn't need special edits to entertain us.
Very kind, I really do Need the interest to Keep Doing these as it is painfully slow to Grow this channel. I appreciate you taking the time to say that! K
I could literally watch vids of you going thru your collection like these “bubble gum” videos ALL day. You make the internet and life in general tolerable so thank you sir and please never quit doing what you do.
Thank you so much for this. Short tailed pythons are hands down my favorite snakes. And while I can appreciate all the morphs, normals I find to be the prettiest. I literally haven’t owned a reptile in 40 years and never a snake. I just enjoy the way you interact with your animals and speak to us. Thank you again.
What gorgeous animals! That “Batik” one with the complicated tapestry of rich warm colors and dark head was especially stunning, but all of them were beautiful. I also like the shape of their bodies better than that of ball pythons, which look odd to me with their bulky bodies and relatively small heads. I don’t keep reptiles, but I admire the people who are leading the hobby and introducing new genes, species, and care knowledge as well as expanding captive bred animals and easing wild collection pressure. Thanks for making this video. I hope reptile keepers pay attention and some attention is spared from the focus on ball pythons. Other species like this have so much potential.
The Batiks are incredible. As a quilter, I have used Batik fabrics oodles of times. These truly fit the definition of the word. In case you didn't know, the etymology of the word "Batik" is: Batik is a wax-resist dyeing technique that originated in Indonesia, specifically on the island of Java. The word "Batik" comes from a Malay word that means "to draw with a broken dot or line."
I enjoy the knowledge that you give to all of us so no yawning on my part. Thanks Kevin for letting us see Snarfle’s a few days back. Please let him know that his googly eyes and sweet smile makes him very handsome which explains why his ladies are always happy to see him. Love your new style of videos ❤
Kevin I just want to say thank you , my daughter and I love the channel . Most people say Brian B got them into this , you got us back into reptiles. Keep up everything you do !!
They are really gorgeous animals. I remember when imports were only available back in the 90’s and nobody messed with them. I am super happy to see how the blood python market evolved. Good Job Kevin! Please keep videos coming, I really enjoy watching and learning from them.
I LOVE blood pythons. My baby was so defensive when he arrived. Your videos helped me learn to understand his behavior and how to handle him. He loves me now.
I finally got my very first ball python today!! I go to pick him up tomorrow, He's a Black Pastel Yellowbelly morph and he is a GORGEOUS little boy and I'm so incredibly excited to have him in my care. I already have his enclosure all set up, and thanks to you (and other channels like snake discovery of course) I finally convinced my parents to let me get one! My mom is even going to help me take care of him! I'm so excited, and Incredibly grateful to have the ability to research and learn through people like you!!!
Rad! Welcome to the club! Just keep in mind, it’s a hobby that leads to a lot of escalation. I said for decades that I had no interest in giant snakes aaaaaand now I am raising a Burmese python 😂 It starts with ball pythons and ends with you wondering how to go about acquiring a T-rex 😂
@@JohnAvillaHerpetocultural oh don't misunderstand, if I had the financial means and the space for a Burmese I would ABSOLUTELY have one. I love those beauties. Maybe even a few retics!
@@VyxenViolets God how I wish I could have retics. Here in Massachusetts there is a law against almost everything. It’s a miracle I am able to keep Burmese pythons here. Luckily New England Reptile Distributors is a couple hours from me. They have some really sweet retics and they do tours.
@@JohnAvillaHerpetocultural Hey i'm from Mass too! I plan on getting whatever liscence(s) necessary in the future to be able to take care of all kinds of snakes, including venomous ones once i get properly trained how to handle them and get a few years experience dealing with them!
We love all the videos of all the different snakes! I personally enjoy and love all snakes, no matter the species, so I'm always down for videos like this!
I had overlooked blood pythons, Kevin, but not anymore! The mag pie, batik, albino, each more interesting than the last snake. Thank you for sharing them with us.
Love the bubble gum videos. Watching one of the old videos on bloods convinced me into purchasing a T- albino blood from you back in 2018. One of my favorite animals. Thank you for everything you do for this wonderful reptile world.
Great video Kevin! Man some of those strikes though 😅 you got some super stunning bloods there!! I got a baby blood python brongersmai 2 months ago and it’s chill as a cucumber so far so I’m digging these videos and learning a lot about them 👍
Kevin, this was an awesome video. I really like the bubblegum series! I am in Montana, and I've noticed there is no one selling bloods at our local expos. I've got a giant female blood, so I got a male goldeneye slackline from Gobbles. He is gorgeous, and I can't wait to pair them! ~Lynn, Passion4Pythons 💜🖤💜💜
Love seeing bloods and STPs on your channel. Definitely my favorite species. Building my relationship with my blood python has been such a rewarding experience. Balls are easy. I had to EARN the respect/trust of my blood. And i have you to thank for the lift and turn method and building "threads of trust". Keep up the great work.
Thank you for showing those off! Blood Pythons are one of my favourite species - only reason I haven't seriously looked into getting one is maintaining humidity with good airflow - way too dry where I live even with room humidifiers. Such beautiful stocky snakes that solid compact build :-) same reason I love Rhinos and Gaboons. Take care up there and have a great week!
Awesome stuff. I love Blood Pythons, and I kinda want one, but... they also kind of intimidate me! I find them harder to read than my boas. Great vid, Kevin! Show some beautiful boas next!
Me earlier on in the video: OMG, that's the most beautiful / insane blood python I've ever seen! Me later in the later: OMG, that's the most beautiful / insane blood python I've ever seen! You have an amazing collection Kevin but it warms my heart to know you love them all because you love animals like I do.
I got a baby red blood many years ago. He was already a strong feeder but was very cranky at first. I just fed normally and handled him for about 10-15 minutes a day when I got home from work. Within two weeks, that aggression disappeared completely! He would still do the typical blood python huffing and puffing when you first picked him up, but he was always tame after that. I highly recommend them as pets, especially if you have any experience with other snakes that might have a little attitude.
Thank you so much for the one bubble gum video I couldn't wait for you to make🤩🤩🤩 Can't believe the personal "blood sacrifices" you were willing to make to give us an up-close-and-personal view of these gorgeous snakes!
17:55 OMG 😍 That snake is GORGEOUS! Looks like the kind of camo you would wear on Mars to blend in with red and orange desert rocks! That or lava and fire with all the deep red, oranges, yellow, all the way to white! No pun, what a fire creature!

Your always Interesting to watch. Your snakes were just beautiful today and I love all the information you give thank you so much and please keep making them
I am more than interested. I love Blood Pythons and have a full grown male and a female Marter . The male came from a Golden Eye sire and his mother is a pure bred Marter. The young female is getting some amazing colour as is the older male. I also keep a Charley, who is a Python Curtis who is a 2018. My males, Benedictine and Charley always were and are very sweet natured. The younger females, the Blood gave herself the name of Bloody Mary and the Black counterpart, "Slasher", will calm down when they realize I will not eat them. I love these unique and wonderful snakes. Very important to make them feel secure, by supporting their body when held. They are my favourite snakes. Thank you Kevin for featuring them. It takes monsters to kill such magnificent snakes for their skins.
Beautiful ❤ I didn't know very much about Blood Pythons - when you mentioned that they are not money makers it probably explains why. I am learning so much from these vids. Bone structure, behaviour, husbandry.. Feed me! Feed me! P.S only yawning from your soothing voice and being so relaxed. Thanks Kevin. Greatest appreciation 😊

It's pretty amazing when a person who has a fear of snakes loves to learn all about them, husbandry, illness, breeding, and simple info because you make it interesting. I know my fears are unrealistic yet the phobia is real. As a child of around 4 my cousins had milk & corn snakes. I've always loved Bloods, but never owned one because of their reputation 30 years ago when I first saw them in Reptiles Magazine. A spring with teeth that can hit like a truck, I've heard. They're just so gorgeous in their normal colors that a morph would be nice, but not needed. Maybe, one day, I'll get one.
Kevin, you never bore me I'm always interested in to learning more and more from you and the rest of the legends that brought these beautiful reptiles over here in the USA I have my eye on a few of your animals to buy. And 1 is my very first blood! I love these guys
Thank you for another great video. Absolutely love videos diving into lesser known/kept/bred species such as blood pythons, Asian colubrids and some harder to find boas. Please keep them coming. Do you have a Solomon Island Ground Boas project?
Believe it or not blood pythons is what made me fall in love with reptiles. Yes the crazy wild caught imported ones from back in the day. I can't believe all the morphs today such beautiful animals. I don't currently have any but would like to get one just as a pet as I already breed ball Pythons.
I never yawn. I love your excitement. I love your energy and most of all I love and value your empathy for living things. 💜
Just reading this made me yawn just now lol

Kevin, the bloods are such beautiful animals! I appreciate this video. Probably heading over to your website to shop for my next one. 😂
Please do! K
Beautiful bloods. Thanks for sharing your amazing reptile treasures with us. Eye candy and oodles of knowledge!
My pleasure. K
Great video on your beautiful snakes! Thanks for sharing!

Enjoying the videos, awesome to see different species and morphs
Glad you like them! K

Kevin, you never bore me I'm always interested in to learning more and more from you and the rest of the legends that brought these beautiful reptiles over here in the USA I have my eye on a few of your animals to buy. And 1 is my very first blood! I love these guys
Love it❤ You changed my mind about the Bloods👌
Awesome!!! K
These videos are awesome. Simple Kevin videos love em
Glad you like them! K
Love this Kevin. Ty for doing the bloods. ❤❤❤
My Malaysian is four feet and four years old. I got her a year ago after her one owner had to give her up. Handleable and super intelligent.
Thank you for another great video. Absolutely love videos diving into lesser known/kept/bred species such as blood pythons, Asian colubrids and some harder to find boas. Please keep them coming. Do you have a Solomon Island Ground Boas project?
I wish I could afford one of your goldeneyes! Absolutely stunning snakes.
I think I have them pretty cheap right now for how amazing they are. K
@@NewEnglandReptile you definitely have them priced well below their actual value, I just don't have the spare cash at the moment.
My wife was just talking about getting a Blood Python. I'm sold now. They are awesome and it doesn't seem like they'd take up too much space.
Believe it or not blood pythons is what made me fall in love with reptiles. Yes the crazy wild caught imported ones from back in the day. I can't believe all the morphs today such beautiful animals. I don't currently have any but would like to get one just as a pet as I already breed ball Pythons.
