That isn't cool. A guy in the same unit I served with in Germany went nuts when he got his divorce papers from his wife's lawyer back home. He was an E-5, but not for long, because he went AWOL and tried to get back to the USA. He got arrested by the German cops at a train station when people reported him mumbling and arguing with himself. He was hundreds of miles from our base, and our MPs had to go get him. He was gone for almost a month before those German cops arrested him. I felt bad for the poor guy.

Unfortunately I have ended up in the financial/insurance route but my heart is in crime. I would love for you to do a few episodes on people that got over sentenced. I live in Ely Nevada. There's always a faint glow above the prison. They are pretty tight lipped about what happens out there. Unless a death warrant was followed out.
Went to prison with a 3 yr mandatory, was arrested Monday 9/11/89 and got out Friday 5/26/95..."assaulted" a co and a sgt during a riot in 91 at Calhoun CI in blountstown FL. There were 5 of us who all caught charges that day. 2 yrs a charge, 4 yrs for me 🫤
I hated that place. Even the smell, smells funny. I was there, for 2 years. It's next to Utah. Even some of the correctional officers, were skinheads, who gave some of the white inmates knives. (REAL TALK)
Friend of mine here in Oxford Uk 🇬🇧 got caught with 10 thousand cash and half a kilo of weed in his car by community support officers 👏 plastic police and never contacted again to answer bail 4 years ago 🙄 let them pile up and forget about it

17 years of it are suspended. Meaning if he even steals a pack of gum he’s going back to prison, likely for the entire suspended term.
