I am just one person with 25 years recovery, sobriety, following Christ, working with over 250 women, but this is what I have seen. Pain, any type of pain, brings most people as far from God as possible. They get very angry with God b/c they are suffering. They journal, go to therapy, go to church, call people they do not even like, anything to not feel the pain which is vital to becoming Christ-like. Now, if life is good, according to whatever they think this means, then they say, "Praise the Lord."

I appreciate you helping those in need. May God bless you 🙏. But ya I've come to a point where I thank God all day for the smallest of things. I pray to him. I'm learning little bits as the days progress and I am getting better. God bless. Have a good day my friend. Light and love. I'll see ya.

For me it’s opposite, Pain has always brought me back to God. It’s been corrective in my life. My pride can get high when things go too well for too long…..complacent.

Pain can be a catalyst that brings us to salvation, but we need to make use of that catalyst. The pain is a signal that we are drifting away from god and need to course correct. Many ignore this signal and identify deeper with their pain. Make efficient use catalyst to minimize your pain while also bringing you close to god.

No longer do I need to be beaten into submission, but I can voluntarily choose HUMILITY - of myself I am nothing. I choose to sit with the pain - always! If it is physical pain, it is stored Trauma - this leads to emotional pain that must be felt - I share in Christ's suffering to share in his glory and will go from glory to glory which means this dying to self and smashing of the ego will not stop but become less and easier as a way of life. for me anyway

I already have salvation - this is mainly why I have emotional pain. 'Stand still and see the Salvation of the Lord" Not my own salvation, but His salvation - what Jesus did and was given as a reward - I am his reward, his prize, I belong to Jesus, not to myself.

No man is qualified to judge his brother. No one is better or worse than the advertised worse or best of us. Trust no man. Hate is evil and contagious. Use the Father's granted decerenment to know good over evil and keep all evil at a healthy distance.

We are to judge all things, and we are not subject to any judgement. However, we are not to judge a person, only things. James was Christ's half-brother and made fun of Jesus and only believed after Jesus died so what he writes is a lot of the Old Covenant stuff, but God still wanted James' words in the Bible - but the rest of the epistles is the main place to be.

Your status is exactly what you made it and is absolutely meant to be.
Be honest with yourself and it’ll be easier to accept.

    James 1:23-24
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

I understand that people believe that once they turn 70 _4:51 to 80 its time to die based off a psalm saying that we will all live for 3 to 4 score.
What is a score in the bible?
Could you explain this psalm for me?
I really believe that you cant die until God is ready for you.

Wasnt Simon Peter angry when he cut a mans ear off? I know Peter was saved. HE also denied knowing CHRIST. Also saved. What about David a man after GOD's own heart and slept with a man's wife then had the man killed? We are saved by CHRISTS atonement and not by the law EVER
