Man, the Pikachu episode got me so bad. I was so sad for him because people didn't really understand him and what he's about, i was so happy they accepted him at the end.
Well, I hope in our society it will be more accepted someday.
This was such a special show to experience. I've similar experiences from the past and still trying to discover who my inner Gyarados/Pikachu is right now. We absolutely NEED more stories like these to show that life isn't always perfect but its ok to choose who you want to be rather than what others expect. And gosh this animation style nailed it!

Also Mariya Takeuchi sang the theme song, the one that sang Plastic Love. We need more of Pokemon Slice of Life shows that is just a vibe. And graveller being adorable was a surprise we always see it like a angry rock here it was adorable.
Agreed! I LOVE Mariya Takeuchi and this song so much. The music video for the song is also fantastic if you haven't checked that out yet.
I've heard people said that the humans were the lowest aspect of the show but for me, I'm so happy to see Haru. I saw a lot of myself in her, and as cherry on top, she partnered with Psyduck, my favorite Pokemon since I was just a little kid, and she treated him with love and care! I'm so glad they went with this animation style because now I want a fuzzy Psyduck all for myself TToTT
I would seriously nominate this show for a Nobel peace prize, it is an international treasure 😭

I hate that it's only four episodes, but somehow it's perfect as it is. I could relate to Haru's worries, her drive to be a perfect employee but later figuring out that all she had to do was have fun. I like that at the start she was like that, then at the fourth episode she was able to help Hao and Pikachu. And when Pikachu yelled at her from the boat, I cried. I love this show so much. If Nintendo makes a game based on this and all you do is go around and help Pokemon have fun, I'm all for it.
This is gonna sound weird to say but the show maybe stop motion but the humor and tone is very live action coded if that makes sense
Like something you would see wholesome on hallmark or abc if that makes sense

Honestly the pikachu episode was really tough because pikachu to me didnt just seem different but pikachu looks depressed to me.
I think we should not accept thats just who pikachu is.
We should probably get pikachu some help
To me that was pikachu being sad that's It's forced into being something he isn't without realizing It and being crushed by expectations, idk

I was on the verge of tears the entire time watching the show idk why
It's soft, sweet, the stakes aren't high but it's not trying to have stakes, yet It still get you by the feelings and gets you attached to the characters and their hopes It's just all great. It's a small neatly packed series, wouldn't mind more at all! Would love more for sure! Sound design is neat, animation is well made and with a lot of heart, writting is swell! Music has soul! Feels like the characters are simple but people I'd know. Very chill. Everyone and everything is cute!
I absolutely adored this show and it will now be my feel-good go-to show 💙

I do enjoy watching Pokemon Concierge, it's a shame there are only four episodes but who knows maybe the Japanese writers will planning to make more episodes in 2024. If they are then I would like to see more Pokemon that haven't appear in this series like Rapidash, Ninetales, Emolga, Pachirisu, Tsareena, Milotic, Primarina and Florges.
Milotic is in fact in the series (but as an art/design of the cruise ship in the final episode). 😃
Pokémon is already a cozy franchise so it fits right in
I cant watch without thinking about all the details and work involved in making such a magical show. Mh fave movie of all time is Fantastic Mr. Fox and this series brings the same sort of magical world come to life.

Pokemon is at its peak and not even halfway there yet. This and horizons are incredible and tera for comp playmaking is so fun and the dlc is poppin. We up good. Ur preaching time to evolve into gyrados, year of the dragon

This show is absolutely incredible. Truly magical and chill and perfect for our autism home.
People can talk about Colosseum or Pokespe being "so dark" but this series is, perhaps surprisingly, one of the most *mature* outlets in all of Pokémon. And it does it just by being relatable and addressing issues like feeling inferior.
It’s the same studio that made the Rilakkuma series which also nails the slice of life series

@AllNpodcast tbh it's pretty close. Troy is essentially Tyler, both have T's R's and Y's and they both evoke the same energy.

I was also so sad when it was over. I really wanted more, but understandable that it’s short since it’s a very intense to animation process. I hope they make more content whether it’s a season 2 or other media outlets like graphic novels/manga.
It was such a wonderful experience. All the characters and Pokémon were wonderful and the stories and animation were so beautiful.
It doesn't feel finished. We definitely need more.
