    wow the idea of viewing rest as a scarce resource i totally relate to that

      I know, right? Hearing that made me realize that how important it is for me to include rest in my schedule. It's weird but it's actually easier for me to do that if I think of it as a "task" I can check off my to-do list. 😅

    I'm with you, friend. Cafes and Airplane Mode are my writing retreat. I wrote my entire novel and all the shorts on my channel in neighborhood cafes in San Diego -- except for one I wrote during the pandemic. Good luck to you on your journey!

      There's something to be said for not working in the same place you associate with rest and relaxation. I don't know that I'll be able to do it every day, but I definitely think venturing out at least once a week will really help me when I'm feeling sluggish. Thanks for sharing!
