Not only did you teach me how to make a hammock in less than 10min - you taught me some valuable crochet skills. You are a great teacher. Thank you so much!! ❣️
I had a lady ask me to make her daughter a stuffy hammock. I used your video tutorial for the pattern and came up with a rainbow 🌈 colored hammock for her. I love it.
So happy I found this video...my cousin sent me the pattern with pictures only...I always do better with a video...will be working on this today!!!! Thank you!
Thank you for a fast & super easy tutorial! I wanted to find an easy pattern to make for my sister's newest child! Yay!!! I can't wait to give this to her! It turned out GREAT! Thanks again! ❤️
I love how this toy hammock looks ! however, out of all the videos I’ve watched so far this one is the most difficult for me to follow.. 😭 I can whip out amigurumi plushies like nothing but shawls and nets make my head hurt 😅
Thank you for this video! I'm new to crochet, and I still managed to follow most of it. I'm having trouble with one bit, though. When you get to the end of a row and you're meant to go into the top of a stitch, I don't think I'm understanding where that is. Does anyone have any advice on that bit? Thanks!
Just a suggestion, so much easier for us to see what you’re doing if you used a solid color yarn. Camera is great but variegated yarn can throw some people off. Thanks for your tutorial. Making this now! ❤
this was a great tutorial very easy to follow but i'm confused about how to hang it up is it hung up but the 2 outermost corners or the staring ring and tip of the triangle?
Thank you for the pattern! I’m working on mine at the moment. I’m noticing that the side created by the chain 2’s curves downward toward the corners rather than being straight across. Is this normal?
The bottom of my triangle is not straight either. Did yall fix yours or finish it? I'm wondering if I didn't do the last 3 dc in the right spot before turning my work.
I finished mine. While I don’t know if it’s normal for the bottom of the triangle to curve, I will say that once you hang it up it looks fine and functions well either way. Also, I hung mine up differently than the thumbnail. I anchored the corner that attaches to the corner of the wall a little higher up. This makes the hammock portion not as deep for storage, but I wanted mine to display the stuffed animals as well as store them. It’s a matter of moving the anchor point up and down to see what you prefer. I hope this helps!
I’m so confused by crochet that I don’t even know what is confusing me. I can get up to the first double crochet and then my brain appears to fall out. (Admittedly this is an improvement, I feel fairly proud of myself for even getting to that stage)
I'm worried that I'm doing this wrong. Is it supposed to look like a straight triangle or is the curve on the starting side normal? BTW I love this pattern and it's super easy. Very similar to a granny square.
A curve is normal!! Keep it up. I'm sorry I took so long to see and reply to this comment. I hope you were able to finish and feel happy with your end result
I used picture hooks and hung it by the 3 points. "peak point" or top point of the triangle, you will need to hang it a bit lower than the other 2 points.
Making a hammock out of yarn...to store my yarn. LOL
LOVE this!! I'm thinking I need to do the same thing my friend
😂😂
That is actually a good idea I never thought about that haha I was just thinking about my kids stuff animals. Haha
Genius!
😂Me too

I like that this grows to the size you need, because I often misjudge how long I need my chains to be lol! Thank you for this.
Lol I’m making this for myself as a grown woman! I can’t wait!! Thank you 😁

I love this! Definitely making it so I can store my excess yarn in it 😂

I wear headbands daily. And I was looking for something like this!! Thank you!!

You explained this really well! my triangles kept coming out wonky because I wasn’t starting the next row right but they look great now! Thank you 😊
I love it! This is just what I need to crochet for my granddaughters. Thanks so much! 💖
Thank you so much for sharing this pattern. My son really needs this!

I like your tutorial, I wish that you would show the finished product so we can be sure of what it looks like completed. Thank you😊👏🏼👍🏼

Count to the second space (stitch) from The previous row. It's not a regular stitch since it's part of the turning chain.
Oh my gosh this pattern is awesome

Appreciate the feedback, will definitely keep that in mind 🙂
Excellent video. Thank you!
How do you hang it?
Thankyou this gramma learned something
Do you make 2 I don't know how to hang it
Im making one rn but i don't have a lot of yarn so im using scrap yarn and doing 2 tc instead of 3 dc.
this was a great tutorial very easy to follow but i'm confused about how to hang it up is it hung up but the 2 outermost corners or the staring ring and tip of the triangle?
When you hung this on the wall how much lower did you put the corner from the two you can see?
Thank You!😊
thank you love!

Mine is doing the same? Is this normal? Please answer

Thank you, chumalaca18!!!
I have a question, so I’m using a 9.0mm and I was wondering if I should do more rows?
I’m so confused by crochet that I don’t even know what is confusing me. I can get up to the first double crochet and then my brain appears to fall out. (Admittedly this is an improvement, I feel fairly proud of myself for even getting to that stage)
Can you please answer my question? Sorry if I’m being rude but I don’t know how many rows to make.
How do you hang them up
I am a kid and i love making these🧶
I can’t work out how to hang the finished hammock. Can anyone help please? X
you sound like pam beesly!!
Do i have to decrease to get the point at the end ??
No decrease at all in this pattern. To accomplish the point you will work your cluster twice in the same space with a ch.2 separating the 2 clusters.
@@DIYFromHomeCrochet thanks, yeah i didnt decrease my daughter loves it. Thanks for a great pattern.
ohhh its like making a bandana for the head
around how much wool does this use?
For those that made this for their yarn, how did it go? Lol I’m about to start for the same reason
Thank you

Omg yes thank you
very good video but you should've done a tutorial for the whole hammock and not leaving us figuring out all by ourselves
You just need to keep doing the same row until it is the size you want. It can be made to any size.
I don't understand your comment, she clearly explains all the steps, where did you get lost? Maybe I can help.
combien de centimetre mesure t il svp car j utilise une laine plus petite merci

I've been looking for this question on here hoping there was an answer to it
