I'm not a big fan of the DAF250, but I got to admit it was nice hearing DLA23 being thrashed towards the end of the video. From what i heard from other bus enthusiasts, DLA23 made up the thrash as DLA147 was driven quite slowly. This video really helps as there are future bus enthusiasts who want to get onto bus preservation and be part of the Low-ish floor running days. This video is fantastic for route learning 🗿👌
Yeah the owners of some preserved buses, especially more older ones tend to take it a bit easy on the bus. It’s so they can last the whole outing without any mechanical problems and/or overheating components. Yeah I’m sure this video will be good use to bus owners who may turn up for the even next year! Even I know the route off by heart now! 🤣
@Frozzles ah okay I see, That's understandable. The slowly the bus goes more chance that you don't have to do a lot of maintenance. But isn't DLA23 older than DLA147 as they both have the same engine spec. idk 🤔😂. Even to this day, I'm still gutted the fact I couldn't once again attend the Low-ish floor running day.
@Frozzles I know I'm going off topic a little bit, Didn't TA648 have engine issues at Godstone 😂. If so, I'm surprised that the beast lasted the whole day.
@@Transportman211I don’t mind bro, if you have any questions, ask away! It didn’t have engine issues, some of the wiring had snapped, but it was fixed on site.
I remember when i was on this at this awesome event every time the driver put his foot down it'd throw us all bacl into our seats!!
Yeah he is a serious driver man 💨
Great video, DLAS have got to be one of the best buses in the arriva fleet!
Bet this was gorgeous to drive!
No doubt, I’m sure the driver would agree!
