"you see that badge on my chest there, that means I can detain ya" lmfao EPIC! definitely do a part 2. I love how the officers don't even know what's going on lol
Coming back and rewatching this video after a couple years, and I'm laughing harder than ever because I'm now a security guard, and watching this on duty.
Same here. When I joined Allied Universal and working the night shifts during my lunch I would always watch these security episodes during my half hour lunch and I was always thankful that I never had shifts like these. Lol
I'm just gonna throw this out there as someone new to the channel, having watched many of these out of sequential order and analyzing the DOJ "community". The reason Buggs and Jeff got away with impersonating law enforcement was, imo, because they are, essentially, alpha pack leaders. Their personalities dominate, their knowledge of the law and snappy wit combined with their 'take-charge' approach towards all situations as well as the general likability and growing popularity of both basically lets them get away with more antics. Having stellar voice filtering and clear speech makes them stand out among anyone else who talks as well, especially considering there seems to be a "courtesy rule" regarding when people in an area can and should be speaking, trying not to speak over someone else or all at once. For the most part, they were playing law enforcement in security guard uniforms. They were doing their law enforcement roles without being law enforcement. If they were actually breaking laws *besides* impersonating law enforcement (like torture, interrogation, theft, extortion, smuggling, drug-dealing, etc...) then there would really be something wrong with the real law enforcement following their lead. I'm not knocking the players who are playing the police in any way, Jeff and Buggs come up with great scenarios and know how to improvise, so if I was there, I'd probably let them do the same thing and just want to see/hear what they do next. Despite it being a role-play server, it's not easy for most people to role-play outside their own personalities. Jeff is great at role-playing and has a quality arsenal of voices to go with his characters. Buggs doesn't seem to have as much flair but still knows how to get into the role. People need to play more Dungeons and Dragons. Maybe this type of server can be today's version of that.
@@Lambullghini For real! Cuffing, being at gun point, asking questions. Put the damn cops to shame. Jeff had me weak too with his big shit cop voice! 😂😂

@@manofthehour5580 this is just a game. I have had to hold someone at gunpoint and it sucks all the way around but this video is hilarious though. Unless you know what we go through on a daily basis then you have no idea. No disrespect.
Cool, I would like your advice on this subject, you obviously know the rules when it comes to being a Security Officer so I was wondering if you could tell me if how I replied to another comment is somewhat correct if you don't mind. The comment said, "Lol. Security officers can't arrest". Here is what I said, "I believe they can detain a person who has broken the law or the rules of a property (such as trespassing, loitering, etc.). Although, I think they need to call Law Enforcement immediately after detaining an individual. I don't think a Security Officer can arrest a person (unless it's a citizen's arrest). And most of the time it is up to the State's legal code. Basically, they have to transfer custody of an individual over to the Police by a certain amount of time (if I remember correctly from my reading). Here are a few things that are wrong with how they handled situations in the video (from what I can infer), first off they can't pull over a vehicle. I believe Security Officers can write Parking Violation Notices, but if the person leaves the property after breaking a law the Security Officer must stay on the property (even if they have a vehicle) and report the vehicle and its occupants to the Police. The police will find the perp. Second, a security officer shouldn't use their weapon (if they have one, usually they only have tasers and/or pepper spray). If I remember correctly a lethal weapon (such as a pistol/handgun) can (more times than not) only be used in the most extreme scenario, for example, let's say an individual opens fire on a security officer. I believe a security officer is allowed to defend themselves in an extreme scenario like this. These are the only things I noticed (unless I forgot something), now on the other hand I understand this video was for sh*ts and giggles so I think it was very entertaining. NOTICE: I am NO expert, so "Mesa take it with a grain of salt!" " So was this correct? Or was I wrong? You don't have to answer. I was just curious. Thanks in advanced, regardless.
