It does sorta make sense about the colouring - the internal logic that they started out as the beige ones but when they hit Geonosis and got dirtied up with the red dust/sand makes sense to me. And I get it about the folded up pose but it's pretty cool that the hatches in the calves and neck hole allow for it, to me. I prefer the ineffectual originals too though!
I wish they did a two pack version. Two would be my top choice. Definitely would love the regular version. But could this lead to us to finally getting a Hot Toys General Grievous???
I got this b/c I really want to pair it with the Super Battle Droid and I'm pleasantly surprised by its articulation, accuracy, options, and overall quality. Despite how thin the arms and legs are it has great balance and doesn't feel flimsy or cheap to me.
Funny as you just said about looking at images of the movie I had just done the same thing myself. Agreed, SS is not really close in color and HT is more screen accurate albeit probably could've used a little more color saturation. Surprised to see you didn't have a pose of a Jedi flinging the droid around. Fingers crossed it comes down the road. Great vid as always
Not a fan of that clear plastic piece for the blaster. Looks like something you'd find on a cheap toy. Glad I will be able to remove it. Roger roger! Thanks for another great vid.
Heads up: tiny knob extending at the end of tube above blaster, has a tendency to fall off. My two SS droids have lost theirs. Thanks for a nice review! Do you plan on ordering an army?
I ordered mine from Pop Collectibles. I was thinking of getting another, but the price is now $75.00 more. Other retailers list it for over $300.00. Should have purchased two when I had a chance.
The pegs at the bottom of the two C-3PO heads are different. I'm guessing so the head stays in place on the body on the one that comes with the Battle Droid.
Great figure, wish I picked up 2. If they made one that was just the droid without the 3po head, macro binoculars, and alt-back parts for $40 or so cheaper I would have gotten 4-6 of them. The best thing would be a two-pack in the $250-$275 range.
A regular tan + commander droid 2 pack would be awesome

I actually really like the paint on this one. Looks great

Isn't this a 'regular' battle droid?
Nice review Ryan, I like this version.
Have all 4 Sideshow versions, looking forward to adding two more Hot Toys to the collection. Roger, Roger...
But JEDAH, you have such handsome watches!

Roger Roger 🎉 Great 👍 video Buddy
These are pretty awesome for what they are. Definitely a pick-up for those buying AOTC series figures.

Roger roger! Another great review, looking forward to the TPM droids; A droideka would be awesome as well.

Looks like they dropped the ball again. Might have to resin print some.
An OOM-9 Commander and a red B1 Captain would be cool
