About two weeks ago I was on f35 going to kerlingarfjoll. We thought about using f35 to go from the ring road to selfoss. I like f35 and the video does a great job of showing why f35 is on of the better f roads in Iceland. Thank you for the video. Ben
We rode the F35 in 2012 with the sidecar. Keyword "washboard track". As long as I could drive at around 90 km/h, everything was fine. But woe betide the pillion passenger who wanted a photo stop. Slowing down and accelerating was really stressful for the chassis. . .
There was a time when you could only go there on foot, or riding a horse. Now it's the fashionable way to go, on an electrical skateboard and with your eyes closed, listening to rap music on your headphones.

I don't understand why you can't drive with a rental car on this road? I have driven far worse roads in the east, and to Keilir, and that was allowed.
