I quite like how, even if this is just the midpoint of Xeroc’s trial (the boss rush), this song sounds like a desperate fight for survival against overwhelming odds. CD did a fantastic job in my opinion on this piece, and I appreciate the extension of it without the Draedon teaser at the end.
Yeah, it's quite amazing. Like the style of the previous tracks is gone, and now your only focus is surviving against godlike beings or, well, actual gods.
