He was dropping party anthems when I was in high school, publicly struggling with depression when I was at my lowest point on WMWTSO, deciding not to give into the depression as I was fighting back on Good AM, falling in love as I was realizing that I wanted to marry my girl on divine feminine, and then realizing that he’s never outrun his demons but that maybe he could learn to live with them on swimming. Here I am having learned that same lesson, coming off of a major turning point and one of the best years of my life and circles drops... fuck man what the fuck am I supposed to do when there’s no more coming? I literally grew up with Mac. Almost like a best friend. You were supposed to be there for everything bro. You me and all the fans were supposed to keep living through all the big moments together. It's hard hearing these new songs but we all can appreciate this man for how great he was. My son looked just like Mac. Same face, same sad puppy dog eyes, same facial hair, same expressions and mannerisms. He was his same age and he died 3 months after he died of the same cause. I come here to remember.

Joseph - my bestfriend loved Mac & he loved the Beatles. My bestfriend passed in May of 2019 to an overdose. When this album hit, the emotions did too. When this song played I couldn’t stop but put it on repeat bc it reminded me of the Beatles so much. Mac was our favorite to vibe too, and this song specifically would have been his favorite.

Lost a child hood pet of 10 years today. It topped off a past year of two family/friend suicides, unemployment, addiction issues, being broke just general shit that life throws at you... But I just can't help smile listening to this song. Every time I listen to Mac it makes me want to get back up and try again. Mac miller was a real peoples artist. When I listen to his music I feel like I'm 16. I feel like everything he is describing he has lived through personally. As if he is trying to tell me it's ok, and that if he did it then I can too. I feel like I am free when I listen to him. I’ve recently dreamt about him. It made me realize how I felt about him deep down. In my dream, I was face to face with Mac and I was telling him how much his music meant to me because not only did it get me through high school and the bullshit I was dealing with then, but also because his music makes me emotionally connect and I can say without a doubt no rapper has ever done that to me. I was telling him how much I love him and I was thanking him for his music and getting me through shit regardless of never having the great pleasure of meeting him in person. Joseph - my bestfriend loved Mac & he loved the Beatles. My bestfriend passed in May of 2019 to an overdose. When this album hit, the emotions did too. When this song played I couldn’t stop but put it on repeat bc it reminded me of the Beatles so much. Mac was our favorite to vibe too, and this song specifically would have been his favorite.

Lost a child hood pet of 10 years today. It topped off a past year of two family/friend suicides, unemployment, addiction issues, being broke just general shit that life throws at you... But I just can't help smile listening to this song. Every time I listen to Mac it makes me want to get back up and try again. Mac miller was a real peoples artist. When I listen to his music I feel like I'm 16. I feel like everything he is describing he has lived through personally. As if he is trying to tell me it's ok, and that if he did it then I can too. I feel like I am free when I listen to him. In my dream, I was face to face with Mac and I was telling him how much his music meant to me because not only did it get me through high school and the bullshit I was dealing with then, but also because his music makes me emotionally connect and I can say without a doubt no rapper has ever done that to me. I was telling him how much I love him and I was thanking him for his music and getting me through shit regardless of never having the great pleasure of meeting him in person. I was also telling him how I’ve made iconic memories to his music how a song of his can take me back to 2013. I don’t care for celebrities but since that dream, I feel like crying when I think of him. It made me realize how much he really meant to me.
