Truth be told I never was interested in gnomes until recently. These gnomes you created are so adorable and cute. Not to mention how budget friendly and how many you can make with one mop head. Great job on these Kelly. I always save my TP and PT rolls they're a staple craft supply of mine. As well as cardboard. I also have a stash of mason jars and your gnome with the lights is stinkin cute. I pray Ray is recovering well I think and speak of him often. I’m in gnome heaven right now!! I have been a gnome lover since 1970 (when I lived in Sweden). I’ve seen a lot of different ways to make them, which I have loved, but none were this creative and easy and super cute! Kelly, you absolutely made my day with the gnomes!! I just got started picking up a few things from Dollar Tree for my Christmas crafts.
And I struck gold with my finds found today at my local Habitat for Humanity!! It started in the parking lot with a shopping cart filled with FREE, YES, FREE pictures and picture frames with a limit of 2 per person.
I couldn't believe the quality and sizes they had available. I was blessed to find a really large frame, maybe 16 X 20 made with a beautiful wood and it has a nice neutral color mat and it's made for at least 8 to 10 pictures. The second frame is also made from wood and it has what looks like a white wax coating on the medium color wooden frame. Best part of my day, UNTIL.....
I went inside and back in the back they've set up a huge spot for all types of glass items for crazy low prices mostly. Well there was another doorway that led to another room full of what you ask? Christmas decor!! Most items were really cheap and they had color coded stickers with discounts of 20%, 40%, and finally 70% off!!!!
Let me tell y'all I came out of there with some of the most beautiful items as well as some fixer uppers and I only spent $17. There was even a couple of lights with one large bulb like you find with the Christmas village items.
I counted and I came out with 33 items not including the 2 FREE picture frames! I feel like I struck Gold today, y'all, lol
They're even holding another Parking lot FREE EVENT, tomorrow morning with some amazing items. I was fortunate to get a sneak peek 😉
So y'all check out your Habitat for Humanity stores and local thrift stores because they are definitely getting ready to put out their Christmas items and the prices are amazing.
I can't wait to get started on these ornaments Kelly, because we love some gnomes in this house, and it's the perfect time to start getting ready to create all of our Christmas decor and even gifts. Yard Sale season may be coming to an end soon, but we've got options y'all! Happy hunting and happy crafting everyone! I can't wait to see what else Kelly has in store for us with even more stinkin cute crafts.
