In the "Bible belt" south, ALL we are programmed with is the bible. And prison most times is first opportunity for a street dude to finally sit down and look at things with an open mind.
I spent 90 days in jail 30 yrs ago & it changed not only my life but my mind. Sometimes u don't know how precious small things in life are like being able to go to burger King, walk through the mall with ya girl, be alone, silence etc etc etc etc etc. I could literally keep going for days. I was at a place where ppl get hearing aids yesterday & I thought to myself how blessed I am to be able to hear
