This is my arrangement of Bagatella No. 1 from "Sei Bagatelle" by György Ligeti. Composed in 1953, they are the transcription of some movements of "Musica Ricercata" for piano from a few years earlier. Each bagatelle is formally autonomous, but all elaborate a path that passes from the rhythmic incisiveness of the first to the funereal tones of the second up to concluding with the telluric force of the sixth.
