I had no idea that there were fans in those, looks like an overall great design, I thought they were overpriced too but after seeing all the features I could see people paying what they're asking.

I'd say the higher price tag is justified since it looks like it's very intelligently designed and has all of the necessary hardware and features built right in, which is great for anyone who lacks the tools and/or skills to DIY all of that stuff. DIY is always a worthwhile thing to get in to, especially in a hobby like this where there isn't necessarily a ready-made solution available to purchase. But the fact that this company is trying to provide basically all the hardware you need in one, integrated package is awesome.
Not to mention that this enclosure still seems like a good value when you compare it to buying fancy rimless aquariums. High clarity rimless aquariums around the same size as these enclosures cost the same if not quite a bit more, and you ONLY get a bare tank. Yeah, they're really beautiful and well made, but MAN that's a lot of money to drop on a glass box with no additional features lol.

Nice review. I built one out completely and agree totally with your initial comments. Limitation on the door opening is frustrating. Any movement and the doors rattle. No joke, the other day I could not figure for the life of me why the doors were rattling. I was wondering if there was a miny earth tremor or something. It was weird. The light is way overkill. OMG, you could almost cook an egg in the viv if you turn it all the way up. It raises the temp by probably 5+ degrees if you cover up the screens. Weight is amazing and really important to me b/c I am not a junior athelete nor genetically constructed for lifting and I am old. I bought my first lehmanni for $35 each. Thats really old. Fully outfitted the Amazonia weighs less than my 18X18X24 Exo. That is really important to me as I move tanks. The other real challenge is that as you add hardscape you have to work with a fixed roof. I had to get pretty creative with a screw driver, tape, and a shit ton of patience as I placed hardscape. All that said, would I do it again? Absolutely. In fact, I bought my third this WE. Why? Simple, I don't want to spend hours building or reconstructing. At the end of the day, the Amazonia is elegant, very functional, and easy to get rolling.

My only concern is the lack of space for adequate substrate depth because of the sloped drainage design. At the back especially, there is very little room to add a good substrate depth that would be needed for larger plants. Will be looking forward to see how his planting works out.

Nice review. Mine didn't come with the proper doors when I bought it a few weeks ago. It just came with annealed glass and no handles. Interesting to see how it should have looked if they had the right doors in stock. My biggest complaint is the top is super flimsy compared to everything else. Also mine was assembled with a gap in the top front corners that I will need to fill to make fruit fly proof. So sadly quality control could be better as well.

As for the gaps in the corners.. /shrug I don't want a new vivarium so there is nothing they can really do for me at this point, and the top is simply the way it is, not a defect just a build issue.

I make many videos words, I tend not to like hearing myself speak, so if it’s up to me, I’d rather play music, these short videos are really just to put a video out for the week, they’re short and sweet and don’t take long to edit, so while I’m working on other longer videos that require more work and editing... these fill that gap, also these are good practice for me and my new camera and lenses. I do appreciate your honest crit tho... they only helps me to become better.
