      Who said anything about divorce? You don’t have to divorce someone immediately. The 1st step is getting away with your life. You can make plans to divorce once you’re settled in a safe place and have a healthy support system surrounding you. Afterwards you can get with a lawyer and he can send your husband the divorce papers.

    Talking about his childhood trauma?! So many of us have trauma and still live lives without perversion or murder. That is simply an excuse for yet another man who perpetuates violence against those he purports to love. No excuses, no leniency; they deserve none of our compassion.

    • @7wqk2
      @7wqk2 2 роки тому +4

      Childhood trauma definitely contributes, it’s linked with so many crimes that it’s unarguable at this point. This man had the choice to get help and seek resources, yet he knowingly refused. He had been fully aware of the crimes committed, no doubt in my mind that it wasn’t intentional. However, childhood abuse to the point children are unable to distinguish right from wrong and have little to no experience with the world around them is probably the only justifiable scenario, and the parents should be the ones held responsible.

    I wasn't going to comment as I listened to this tragic story. Then I remembered my aunt. She lost her life at the hands of her husband 6 months after marriage. The bastard stabbed her 20 plus times. Over 10 years ago leaving her 1 year old and 9 year old sons behind. I share this to say-----there are always red flags BEFORE you tie the knot. Women we need to pay attention. Some are older---like my aunt was at 40 and feel that they need a spouse. I totally understand. We are social creatures after all and marriage is natural. However, she saw the signs and yet married him. My point in all of this is to say----if or when you decide to leave an abusive relationship---make your plans. SECRETLY. Tell 1 trusted friend or family member and leave when he is at work or far, far away. Get a new phone so that you cannot be tracked etc etc. At times women talk TOO much!. The last thing you want to do with a tyrannical/possessive man is to SHARE your plans. That is a no no. So if one woman who reads this is in such a scenario----I hope she takes on board my simple advice. Far too many have left us because they chose to tell the man their plans. PLEASE KEEP QUIET, plan and move. Go to a shelter for women. It may be hard for a while but at least you would be alive. In time you/the kids will thrive. It just pains me to hear similar stories here/there/everywhere. I may be decensitized to some crimes having read/heard/watched 100's but some upset/pain me more than others. Like this one. As for this-----monster, I don't mean to insult monsters. I should say demon, he will get his payback in due season. If all fails---blame spirits/madness etc. He loved his wife/kids he said. Indeed. We can tell. He must pay for his crimes. I cannot fathom the depth of evil/wickedness that lies within some humans. May all 6 rest in peace together on the other side......sincere apologies for this long comment. Take care out there...

    I'm not proud of myself being in jail but my cell was next to his and I ended up getting my cell changed to another cell eventually. Damas seemed normal, worked out, played chess, and even had a prayer circle I refused to be apart of. In my eyes there isn't any way to justify what he did, it made me sick to see inmates participate in his prayer circles. Probably didn't even know what he did tbh. I seen him get his ass whooped by another inmate last name fisher. Fisher was a big guy as well as damas and fisher claimed he new how fight and jujitsu. Fisher used to whip him in chess and one day they quit playing together. About month went by and it was right after Rec time we came back in and there they were playing chess again. Fisher won and they got into a heated argument. He claimed to be changed man or saved but he was one instigated the fight cause he lost again at chess to fisher. He yelled at fisher to get there and fisher said I'll be there Nigga hold on I'm getting my shoes. Fisher put on his shoes and went right into his cell and you could here them fighting. It was three mini fights in one fight if that makes sense. Fisher at one point had his head just about in the toilet another moment he was extremely close to snapping damas arm in a armbar. I guess fisher did know how to fight, the fight ended in day room for all us too see and police rushed the block. Took both of them away. I thought I never see either one again, I got out jail myself and proud say I've never been back but when I was released about month or so later. I was at a gas station in Naples and seen fisher. I said wtf happened to you did the police add more charges?!? He said no, they didn't do anything and released him cause he was in there on misdemeanor charge. I thought for sure he was going get added charges but no. He asked me for change I gave him a $20 and said that's for beating damas ass. He just smiled and said thank you and I never seen either one again. I apologize for the rant, I accidentally stumbled upon this video and brought back those memories. Also I did get a bad feeling about and around him, I didn't like him at all and thought what he did was truly evil.

Trauma can affect your ability to manage your emotions, impulse control, thinking, ability to be in your body and connect with your actions to the point that it's hard to have choices beyond what you're biologically preprogrammed to do. It takes education, therapy, love, and some luck to get out of that cycle. Unfortunately society doesn't do a great job of addressing trauma. Long term therapy is expensive, and often stigmatised or of the wrong type.

    I was just watching the Todt trail last week. Anthony Todt murdered his whole family and remained in the house with their bodies for days as well. Todt also claimed that he attempted to kill himself, (with Benedryl), but failed. Pretty telling when these 2 murderers were able to murder their whole family. Wife and several children each, but fail to kill themselves.

Such as video evidence, a confession proved not to be coerced, DNA (perhaps only SA cases, since fingerprints aren’t always straight forward proof), or multiple escaped victims testimonies.

    Monsters like this man, shouldn’t get the ‘death penalty’ as it just costs us tax payers a lot of money, they should just “feed” them to the other inmates, as I hear people in jail don’t take kindly to child killers, and so, he wouldn’t live long if the inmates are allowed to get their hands on him and it wouldn’t be as overly merciful as the death penalty. I heard a lady one day say that she had been strongly against the death penalty because she just thought it was "wrong" to take the life of a person, no matter what atrocious act that person had committed or how dangerous he or she would be to society if he or she were ever released from prison. She said that then HER daughter was kidnapped, assaulted and murdered and she changed her mind and now she is FOR the death penalty. I wish I could have talked to that lady and asked, "So if it's MY daughter that is brutalized and murdered the bad guy shouldn't pay the ultimate penalty but if it's YOUR daughter then he SHOULD pay the ultimate penalty?" I wonder if she knows how terribly selfish and lacking in empathy that makes her appear?
