The journey of Aina Oluwa Femi from Africa to umpire pro school should be a movie. The quest to identify and develop an African born umpire to work the highest levels of baseball on the planet should be a TV show. The world is the best place for all of us when we can fully harness the full potential of all of our people. We wish all of you at Ekiti Kete Baseball and all of those across the African continent all the best and we hope your umpires continue to advance the game of baseball globally for all!
I went to this school when I was 22 which is a long time ago now. Still have fond memories. Although I dislocated my arm with three days left it was still fun. (I tripped over a bag while “playing” ball not on an out or safe call if you must know)

I love that I ran onto your channel. The umpire school videos were a blast from the past for me too. I attended in 1990 when the fields were still outside of turn four at the Speedway. Thanks for the memories.
