Did figure out how to attach that missing adjustment tab? Just bought a 2011 CS with one that has come off in back seat vent. Have the piece, just need to figure out how to put it on.
Hi Rich, Thanks for the video. Do you remember where you got your replacement vent from? Dealer or online parts supplier? Having a hard time tracking them down.
There are a whole bunch of them used on eBay $50-100.. Be aware there is 4 different part numbers.. Center left and right and outer left and right but otherwise I think they are the same for a wide block of years
That’s not a 958. Porsche has never used that designation. It’s a 92A or E2. Second generation Cayenne is the 9PA or E1. Third generation is the 9YA (or 9YB for the coupe) or E3.
Great video. Good job. Happy for you getting your car closer to factory. I’ll be changing or fixing my left vent.
Excellent video - wooden skewers do work as long as they are bamboo and getting that top clip open is essential.
Great video, I am actually having to take the vents of on my 991 as soon as my carbon dash kit arrives. Thanks for your help!
What I really could of used was one of those dorky headlamps when dealing with the vent... You want at least a good light
great job man, the video is very much useful. I have two air vent broken in my (CGTS13) and need to be replaced. thanks a lot .
Great video. Pro tip: a headlamp will free up space and give you the light you need!
How did you get the new vent tab on?
Great video. Do you have a video how to remove the instrument cluster for cayenne 958?

The spare parts dedicated to this vehicle start with 958 ... ... .. so it was used and it is 958
Those at T20 torx bolts not T15 like I said
Did anyone found out how to replace the vent clip (easily)?
