Yes please! I would love to play through more cool shenanigans in this universe, lol. Plus I just got really attached to these characters (way more than I'd ever expected), and I need to hear more of them. I can already see the story going something like: with renewed faith, the Creator managed to finish his original rpg game, and we as the user decide to drop by and see if we can play an early version of the sequel. But we slowly learn that, unfortunately, the Creator is going through a sort of creative block right now, and has put things on hiatus for a while. Meaning the new game is still very unfinished and unstable. And so, Game desperately tries to keep us from going in and potentially messing up all the progress they've already made on the sequel thus far. Through a series of shenanigans, we all get pulled back into some meta otherworldly chaos (maybe even having us surf through some internet parodies), and the unfolding journey eventually allows us to inspire the Creator with ideas taken from games in other dimensions. Leading him to create a game like "There Is No Game" based on all our adventures, which brings things full circle, lol. I could see Game playfully mocking us about how, in a meta way, by trying to access the sequel, we'd have already experienced something better first hand, leaving us with no excuse to try and play the new game itself. Also, maybe in the end, Game can finally reveal we actually EXIST to the Creator too. That'd be a funny reveal, lol.
I think that while the main gameplay does have different endings, the cutscenes all happen regardless of the choices as they show what happens to the supporting cast. It's just that it's offscreen
@@Snikerpiker1 I think it would’ve been funnier if the bad ending had the Legend of the Secret mid-credits scene, while the good ending had the Sherlock Holmes mid-credits scene. The reason I say that is because who would want to be reminded of giving that one chapter the Ghosts n Goblins treatment with added gacha spam?
I am annoyed nobody mentioned that the style of the "Sherlock Homes point and click adventure" part is referencing the game The day of the tentacle by LucasArts. Also the two-headed squirrel there is referencing the two-headed squirrel of another LucasArts game: Zak McKracken.
