Wow, this is definitely a deviation from your signature orchestral style, and I really enjoy it! As Glitchman mentioned, there's a lot of complexity in the percussive elements, as well as the tonal instruments. The level of detail work here is seriously impressive! It feels like every synth has some kind of dynamic effect going on, and every note seems to differ in terms of articulation, filtering, or LFO(s). For instance, the low sort of "gurgling" synth (first heard at 0:26) as an interesting warping effect which gives it makes it sound like it's constantly on the move. And speaking of movement, there's a lot of rhythmic drive in the arpeggiated supporting synths, like the one that emerges at 0:59 or the one that debuts at 1:31. And I like how they also begin on the 1st upbeat or 2nd downbeat, like they're answering the kick at the start of the measure. That slight separation really makes the rhythm come through that much more effectively! Again, there's a great amount of rhythmic complexity in the drums and percussion. The variety of mix-ups, added accented notes, and drum fills really liven up the rhythms, and it's evident of your ability to write interesting drum parts! I feel like the song gets even better with repeated listens, because it takes a bit to hook onto the rhythm, with all that's going on, but once you do, it's really fun and groovy! Despite never having played the game, I can get a real sense for what some of the music is like, based on the colorful instrument choices and unorthodox rhythms here! It's great that you're branching out so much with these electronic remixes, and it demonstrates your versatility as a musician. I hope you'll continue to produce all kinds of genres and place emphasis on particular aspects of the music (like you did here with the complexity in the percussion) because the result is always awesome!
