To measure how strong Noland is he one shot the Giant Snake. Zoro couldn't even scratch it.
I find it hard to believe he's that strong tbh maybe that snake was weaker since the new one grew up in the sky island which makes it grow faster
@@primordiatree1014nah nah he’s that strong, he was an explorer in the grand line 400 years ago there’s just no way he wasn’t op
Spoiler of spoiler
He was at dressrosa and became a hero to the tontata tribe
definitelyy one of the best backstories in One Piece!
edit : Saw this somewhere but Skypiea in general is considered one of the most important arcs because it opens new doors to new mysteries (like the blank century) and introduces how important history in general is in one piece. And this backstory specifically plays an important role in fulfilling it.
I like it because the energy is so different from anything else. Just pure history/ideals conflict. Best backstory in fiction (because I don't know/read much else anyway haha!).
I’m only on 413 but this one and frankys 2 episode backstory were the best so far
@@audichunes exactly! Skypiea's backstory is simple yet so rich in storytelling. It's significance and impact in the events in the present makes it more meaningful making everything so much better.
Did you know that the voice actor (japanese) of Montblanc Noland is also the same voice actor of jiraya... legendary
Rest in peace both of you
Amazing that Noland is almost as legendary as Jiraiya, given the brevity of Noland's appearance in one piece
This is so mind-blowing Sun God literally got mentioned in this very early chapter, what in the world it didn't specify that it's sun god Nika, but like it's Sun God oh gosh
This is one the few flashbacks that don't involve any of the characters we're currently following, aside from Noland and Calgara being really cool characters, it's awesome of have not only the world of One Piece be fleshed out but it's history too
One of the best flashbacks in OP for sure
here we go one of the best flashback
6:10 “At this point, I’m convinced Robin doesn’t even know their names and just calls them that.”
Pretty much, yeah. 😂
@@ricorichardson5945 Yes it is why, and no it isn’t spoilers. Robin calls literally everyone except Luffy by their crew position because she has zero reason to remember any of their names at this point in time.
@@bob513993 Robin and Luffy also think very much alike. They are always on the same wavelength. It's a quirk they both share since Luffy also forgets everyone's names and calls them by whatever he deems fit.
@@erictherien Eventually, yeah. Don’t forget that this is her first adventure with the crew and that her general mentality at this point, as explained in Usopp’s interrogation when she showed up on the Merry, is just to use a group as a shield until she has her next move planned out. The only reason she remembers Luffy’s name right now is because she got a front row seat to his struggles against Crocodile.
@@bob513993* spoilers*
She calls everyone by there position because she doesn't know for sure that she's gonna be part of the crew for long. She doesn't trust them fully yet.
Which is why after water7 She says their names.
Oda is crazy intentional with his backstories and how everything comes to a head. He's like no other author.
The back story on Upper Yard and its conecction to the Shandorians and Noland is pivotal in the upcoming episodes as it ''help to connect the dots'' in a manner of speaking.
Here it is, one of the best backstories in the show
oh wait i didnt notice this before but i like the ishinobi wanted poster with the subscribers as the bounty, thats a cool concept lol
Let us not mention how the whiplash from the "Ussop- Aaaa Aa Aaaah!" would have split his spine in half 💀
One of the most underrated backstories in One Piece.
It's so nice to finally see you reaction to my favorite part of this arc(and one of favorite parts in general)
Never forget this backstory- from manga reader
and so begins one of the best backstories and bromances to ever be made
i just cant unhear jiraya whenever noland talks
Fun Fact: Robin's Devil Fruit, the Flower-Flower Fruit. Is a reference to Flower Fruit Mountain, the home of Sun Wukong from Journey to the West. Who bears a resemblance to Luffy and Goku from DBZ. Also, I think Nami maybe another reference to the Nimbus Clouds that Wukong would ride on. As she can produce clouds with her staff. Zoro could be a reference to the Demon King Bull as well. Zoro has some attacks named either after devils or bulls/ox's. For example, one of his was called demon king bull hovees. I think you was that in the Strong World movie against Shiki.
Doesn't Wukong also use a Bo Staff as a weapon, like Nami? Or was that just OG DB Goku?
@@DiceFTW273 Yes he did. He got that from the sea dragons to combat the deities of heavenly world.
I know he is going to like the Ernie’s lobby/water 7 arc
Ah, the first hearing of the "Sun God"...
How time flies.
Snake is best boi
I love your reactions!!!
nooo this was supposed to be both parts together.
i'll be back when 188 is up
Enel/Enreru, is based of the Japanese thunder god, Raijin, and a bit of the Buddha as well.
One of the legends appeared let’s go
Noland has the same voice actor as Jiraiya.
finally, uploaded
The best friendship in the whole one piece, also a very heartbreaking end to it
Fun Fact: Noland's Japanese voice actor is the same as Jiraiya's Japanese voice actor
12:15 first mention of the sun god
Great reaction!
Episode 187 has a shit ton of lore that to this day are still talked about after 900 episodes, I don’t really expect you to know what I’m talking about so don’t mind it
FYI: calgara's VA is the same as jiraya's in the sub
after this arc is the best filler arc in the anime as well as one of the funniest arcs in all of one piece
Remember the words "God of the Sun" in relation to Skypia arc.
It'll be important 800 episodes later. =P
He didn't realise it was jiraya voice actor😮😮
2:02 relatable asf
Noland and Calgara are both total Chads. Love them both.
“Dude that’s the same snake…” 5 seconds later 👀 or not lol.
Noland the giga-chad-max-pro-gangsta
Noland was so strong!
HOLY CRAP THEY WERE WORSHIPING SUCH A god wow
Just noticed that Shandians worshiped "SUN GOD" 🌚🌝
Well the one piece is non stop action/comedy
So... Jack now has to eat his Shoe right? Few episodes ago he said "if the City of Gold exists I'll eat my show" or something to that effect?
Imo, this right now is the best part of Skypeia!
FYI : Noland voice actor is the same va with Jiraiya, love to hear his voice acting
Eminem going wild
It means more to Skypiea and One Piece in general. Oda is crazy, be ready loool
Sun god...
Oda is the fucking goat in forshadowing
Robin casually forgetting or trying not to memorise anyone’s name.
Also Robin: “Luffy!”😂
Edit: Sun God🎉
Edit again: it’s the Kashi god! Kashi is a city in India, now known as Banaras.
Best filler arc is near...
Finally
Gigachad Noland
there's a reason he cant get out so fast, he was looking for a tree, notice how one of his arms are stuck?
Nonland and Cagura, both giga chads.
A the moment in manga a lot of interesting stuf going
i dont know if this is to much of spoilers but YEAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!
**spoiler alrert**
Offering girl to sun god what an irony😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah Sun God Will Gladly Accept Her Sacrifice 😂😂
Manga Readers Know 😏😏
And manga readers are getting tired of you hinting at stuff from the manga in the comments, no matter how vague it is.
Jiraiya and sarutobi. :3
did they mention "SUN GOD"
ummm i wonder who is it?!
Theyre worshipping the "Sun God" 😁
Bro Norland cut the snake very easily and meanwhile Zoro tried desperately to cut the snake skin but couldn't cut it at all !!
That means Norland has a sword skill that is stronger and more powerful than Zoro Skypiea
Btw Mr shinobi, DO NOT SKIP THE LONG RING LONG LAND ARC DO NOT LISTEN TO THE OTHERS IT IS AN IMPORTANT PIECE OF THE ANIME
please Jack react to dragon Ball super atleast once a week like Sunday or something
*jackthedrought there fixed it for you
😎✌
You getting close to one of the best arcs in One Piece. You think you like OP now... just wait. Oh and please react to the filler arc after Skypia, it's great
That weight of the ball on Luffy's arm (300 tons) from last vids comment was an estimate btw. Based on the ball having a similar diameter to Luffy's height; in a lot of the scenes the ball looks bigger than that.
This guy needs to skip fillers rn he is on g8 filler arc and right after is foxy arc idk why he watching filler when he could be in water 7 rn watching good content.
He doesn't need to do anything, he can watch what he wants, and G8 is really good, Long Ring Long Land is mostly canon, a few filler episodes sprinkled in but that's not so bad
I rolled once for a random One Piece waifu and landed on Mousse. Which is a great choice, really: beautiful, good genes, community-oriented... I'm very happy to claim her as my waifu for laifu.
give us more hxh content
This arc and backstory foreshadows one of the most Mind-blowing Plot twist and its about luffy's devil fruit
I would join Luffys crew if they were real :)
~look at the toxic people in the comments~
@@keflalssj sorry for making you mad.
Also you calling me a fanboy when you have a fucking Nami pfp
@@keflalssj also what is wrong with saying I would join luffys crew? it’s not like is actually going to happen. At least k have a life unlike you
@@XXEDITZ327 LMAO instantly pulls the "i have a life unlike you" insult thats hilarious
This backstory breaks my heart everytime, but beside the emotional weight, this is really important for One Piece overall history
