Thank you very much man. I'm having trouble with mine. The trigger doesn't move. I'm gonna try what you did with the cable inside the throttle body.

Great fix, sometimes working in those handles can be a pain in the butt.

Thanks Joey. Agree they are overly complex. My temporary fix is a year old and still working 👍. Thanks for watching

Hello, I am French, I really liked your video, I understood thanks to you that it was the iron handlebars which allow you to ground and turn off the machine. maybe you can help me, the throttle cable of my fs 400 makes my machine accelerate by itself, I have the impression that it is too short and very tight is this normal, in your opinion where can this come from? thank you for your comeback

Hi, thanks for watching. I’d say there can be be 2 problems. The throttle cable has 2 ends so I’d guess one end is not seated properly and this is reacting like the throttle trigger has been pulled. This can be caused when the machine is off and the cable gets accidentally pulled. I’d suspect the end near the engine, but check both ends. On my machine the cable connects behind the airfilter box. Once that’s removed you can see how it’s connected and then check it. There is also cable tension adjustment there too. Hope that helps.

Great little fix - I think I'm faced with the same issue at the moment with an FS 550. Curious to know if the fix is still holding up? Cheers!

Hi, thanks for watching. Yep, it’s still holding up, “temporary fixes”tend to last with me until they break again and then they get a more permanent fix 😁😁

I agree, I think you’ll find it hard to find a genuine part, but don’t be afraid to try the after market stuff, it’s usually ok and a fraction of the price.
