In this video, we cover Alaskan Klee Kai 101! This video will give you all the information you need to know about the Klee Kai breed. Alaskan Klee Kai are a companion-sized dog breed that have an appearance similar to the Siberian Husky. In spite of what you may read, the Alaskan Klee Kai are purebred dogs. They've been recognised as a breed by the United Kennel Club since 1997. The Klee Kai breed was created by an American lady called Linda Spurlin. She looked to recreate the appearance of her adopted undersized husky called Curious. The result was the Klee Kai.
In Alaskan Klee Kai 101, I touch upon the Klee Kai history, Klee Kai appearance, Klee Kai temperament, Klee Kai exercise needs, Klee Kai shedding, Klee Kai separation anxiety and much much more.

Skye and Copper are such sweet natured dogs. I'm sorry I don't have the space for Klee Kai. But I can say with stressful things going on in life at times, videos like this are a tonic for the soul! (And I love to hear Copper's wonderful variety of vocals!)
Great video. I picked up a rescue dog a couple years ago that I now believe to be miniature husky. She meets every criteria. right size and weight,( 20 lbs) right shape, right muzzle, right ears . right tail and coat. Shes is basically white but wears a black saddle over a tan blanket. Her markings are totally symmetrical. She fits everything you say about yours. thanks

We found a 2 year old klee kai at a shelter, obviously no papers, but I could care less about that. His previous vet papers said klee kai and I had never heard of one. I know husky dogs, but just never encountered klee kai before. We only knew he was a klee kai from his vet history. He seems to be a typical klee kai other than being a bit large 35lbs. I really couldn't care less if he's purebred or not, he's the best boy
There's a Klee Kai or two in my future. Been a decade+ since I lost my Malamutes, these guys seem very familiar already. Great content, hopefully folks will really listen up with you talk about commitment... it's for life and it's not revocable. Cheers!
