Thank you so much for this video. I learned draping 2 years ago but watching your videos I see it is much more technical. Maybe a silly question why do you take 5 cm centerfront and in other videos 3 cm? 🪷
Thanks for watching my video. The 5 cm or 3 cm seam allowance that is added to the centre front is a margin to prevent the fabric from shifting. And sometimes this seam allowance can be used to make changes to the design. Therefore, it is always more convenient to have this margin of 5 cm. However, sometimes, if there is not enough fabric width, this seam allowance may be too small. Essentially, it is easier to drape if there is always about 5 cm.
this is the best skirt tutorial I've ever seen

FANTASTIC!!! The best draping chanel!!!
Thanks for watching my videos and look out for new content coming in September.
The way you draw 5 cm line gives me goosebumps. Man how cn u do tht
The technique of drawing a line is simple. I am using the texture. I can't even draw on paper.
i love your videos!!! u have perfect hand >_< i cant even draw a straight line properly, thankyou for the tutorial it help a lot!!
Senseful eyes are more important than perfect hands for draping. By observing the texture, the fabric will tell you what to do.
Beautiful thank you 😊
Thanks for your comment.
Thank you so much
Thank you for watching the video.
Thanks! I really enjoyed watching the video. Do you offer workshops?
Thanks for watching our video. We have no plans for workshops, but we are planning a UA-cam Live later in the year.
How many inches do you leave off the top of the waist to start the draping? Thank you 😊
It is about 6 inches.
Hi is your fabric on the bias or on the grain line? ❤️
I cut my fabric on the fabric grain. Of course, you can also use bias on the front centre line.vvvv
I love your videos please keep it up the great work!!!
I will continue to add more videos so please look forward to it.
