wow respect to all the actors of the film nashville crew who sang along to the beautiful song just wonderfully when i saw it for the first time, this series captivated me and drew me into their band, a beautiful dramatic series, too bad unfortunately there are no sequels of the show, the actors all did a good job, I also liked the country songs in the show
Wow!!! I am thrilled with the song and the stars of this amazing, outstanding serie who sahke and cause an immense commtion to everyone's heart !!!! Congratulations to every crew member, actors, actresses, singers and every professional who have participated of this beautiful and blessed serie ! God bless you all !
Such a simple and beautiful song. My wife and I stumbled upon this show one night while they were performing this and we were amazed by the talent of the cast and we instantly fell in love with this song.
Six people have no idea what REAL music should sound like. Must be trollers. This is the most amazing talented cast ever put on TV. These Actors and actresses' not only do the acting, but they actually sing. Not dubbed. THEY are the ones who sing and play the music. I would bet that just about anyone on the show could go on to Country Music and have a successful career if they wanted. Thank God for great writers. These songs are awesome too. Wouldn't be as successful without the "Song". Amen???
I've never been into country music and come from a part of New Zealand where country music is not popular. Through watching Nashville, I've come to LOVE this type of music, it's just perfect!I
We never talked about this one. Even before we met I had some real work to do. The struggles were there but gains were greater and made the hard work easier. Have you thought about the turnaround for each of us? Look at your daughters successes as I do with my sons. There are hugs with family members. The grandkids and their happiness as we visit. Today, Carter got so excited, he literally jumped up and my arms caught him. Carters smile made my day. The hug and clinging was rather long! Seeing you with the girls and grandkids along with that smile on your face says it all. Yes, our lives are good! Night babe!
Who is Ashley Monroe? I've bn out of mainstream media for too long it seems! I like this song, but find myself changing some of the words. It's a great melody. Are there words here, saying, "I don't need faith, someone to call my name," then, "Oh, Lord I pray..." For some reason that confuses me. I should probably google the words, etc, but I'd truly appreciate some knowledgeable replies -- No insults, please. -- Life can feel tough enough that we probably all benefit from a sweet sweet sweet song.
Even though I completely hate Layla Grant as a character on the show, the way the actress was singing has comepltely made me change my mind over her. I absolutely love her voice in this.
He sang it alone early in the show. And seriously--- you can't see it's a good song??? It's good with 'Deacon' (Charles Eston) just as it is with Maisy and Lennox. Spread love...not hate. There's enough room in this world for many people to sing that song. I hope to be one of them. I hope, in spite of nasty comments, YOU have a life that's good. Maybe see what's really important.
He's Colin Linden, a Canadian singer, songwriter, guitarist extraordinaire and producer now spending most of his time in Nashville. Check out Blackie and the Rodeo Kings for more of his amazing playing.
Kinda weird that everyone is in their own little groups and Aubrey is left standing there alone. You'd think there would be the two groups on each side, the two women on the right and then Deacon (sorry don't know his actual name) standing with Aubrey. She looked left out.
Nice sweet song except we don't pray to God for a good life and an imaginary heaven doesn't ground anything. Let's just enjoy this only life we have and love one another.
My heart is broken watching this, Nashville really was the best 💔 wish it would have gone on forever x
Sarah Siskind and Ashley Monroe are phenomenal songwriters!!!!! The lyrics for this song is out of this world!!!
Just watched the last ever Nashville , I am a sorry mess. Have watched it all through lockdown, it’s been an amazing journey😢😢
I love the way Charles Eston looks at Aubrey Peeples like he's never heard her sing before and is impressed, like were you not in rehearsal
:) I was thinking tht maybe he was struck by the words... Who knows?
Best!

"A Life That's Good" without Lennon and Maisy is like corn flakes without milk.

his real name"s Charles "chip" Esten
The songwriters sing this more beautifully than the cast, imo.
My husband and I danced to this song at our wedding for our first dance. We decided it on our 3rd date.
This song has no rhythm. You and your husband must be white
#RIPRAYNAJAMES ;(
Nice sweet song except we don't pray to God for a good life and an imaginary heaven doesn't ground anything. Let's just enjoy this only life we have and love one another.
Am I the onle one who notices that Clare Bowen isn't wearing any shoes? haha
