Best sky 10 review on UA-cam. Mine has slid off the back of my truck on its second day of owning it, Been dragged around, bounced off rocks, and slid down the side of river banks without consequence. It’s a great happy boat.
That’s the safest 10 ft kayak on the market, the 2 bulkheads also serve as extra floatation if you capsize. These have been on sale at REI for a while too. The 12 ft Skylark at only 41 lbs is also awesome.
So another person posted their sky 10 with thigh pads. I just bought a sky 10 a month or 2 ago and there is only hip pads and the website does carry pads for sale for thighs but says it only fits certain models and sky 10 is not one of them. So did your knee pads come with or was it put on after purchase?
32 lbs. Is great. But, I tend to get into situations where I'm on gravel or a lot of rocks and my tupper wear kayaks can be abused without getting damaged. The Sky 10 hull material is not nearly as forgiving.

This is so informative. I need to pass this info along to my kayak-loving boyfriend!
