    I would choose none actually. I would rather spend my money to buy instead a 50+ feet yacht from a quality brand like Contest, Nautor's Swan, Euphoria, Hallberg-Rassy etc.

      Are you joking, have you seen the prices of the quality brands you speak of, meter for meter a Hallberg Rassy is more than 3 times the price of a Jeanneau. You definitely won’t get a 50 plus for this money.

    What ugly, impractical, cheap designs. Horrible. It looks like they wanted a sales formula, but did not give a stuff about how they got it.

    Interesting layouts ....i prefer the first .. im wondering if all those moving panels on the second one would get noisy underway?
    Having a head in the bow can also make for a wild ride in steel seas ..so a second aft heads probably a good idea.
    The dark hulls smart looking but that pinkish buff colour does the interior no favours and
    Cockpit fabric coverings are going to get wet and dirty especially with the lines running over and between them. ..
    but thats just my thoughts.

    Funny how the cabins are 'very compact' and the sink isn't large enough. It's a 60 foot boat. Everything is huge to me :)

    What an odd situation? I like the lines of both boats outside, but- they are barely functional anywhere off the mooring ball or finger dock? The galley is not functional, the kids bedroom is almost unusable... The chairs in lounge would be terrible in any weather or with a heel... Not seeing this vessel at all.

    The second one is much nicer to look at, the colour scheme is much more welcoming. But for such a big boat the small space in the cabins is disappointing. Also the different levels make the boats not really offshore or bad weather capable. I still would prefer a HR 57 or 64, better layout, one level floor and a more sturdy looking design at all. Both boats don’t give me the feeling to be a good offshore cruiser.

    • @nomansland120
      @nomansland120 2 роки тому +2

      To be fair, this isn't built to be an offshore cruise like a HR is. This is built for Med-Coastal cruising, port hopping.

    I think it's good to see them try something different. Having a 3 metre long tender is just remarkable on a boat that size. That changes your whole experience and enjoyment of anchoring, that is pretty amazing.

  • @vorda400
    @vorda400 2 роки тому +2

    I think the garage for the tender is the biggest problem and so they limited that the boat has two large bedrooms behind and two in front in that configuration there could be three showers with toilets and there would still be room for a large kitchen on that length of the boat
    From the outside, both boats look nice, although I prefer the first one with the superstructure above the cockpit, I see where I would install solar panels.
    These are some new designs maybe we are just too old ;-)

  • @JudgeDredd_
    @JudgeDredd_ 2 роки тому +2

    I’ve decided that I don’t mind the shower/head wet room combo anymore. I’m trying to maximize the space on the boat so how big do the staterooms and heads really need to be so long as they’re aplenty?

    Seeing these boats - which I both dislike - I wonder, if one should not do it the old style with a back cabin and center cockpit.
    There was a moment, when the kitchen became an "american" one and nobody used it anymore. But in my grandma's kitchen (so to speak) we worked, prepared, met, laughed...
    This is what I feel here. Uncosy, unreal, unlivable... strange.

      You are right , layout doesn`t make a sense ,not practical , wasting of space with those two stupid grandad chairs , cabins are ridiculous and if you check ,it is only 318 liters of fuel tank. Those boats maybe are only good for sitting in marina ,but for serious sailing needs a lot of things to change,this is massive production,not many options in layouts,colour of wood etc.etc.
      What I like on this boat is cockpit , it is very nice ,lots of space ,nice bbq and protection wit this hard top ,but interior is a big minus for me
