Taking a magsafe poposocket off of this case is damn near painful in the finger sometimes lol. It's so strong. I have to shift the popsocket sideways so that it bleeds off of the case for me to peel it off. Magnets are very strong!

I had a red magbak for my 11 pro along with the wallet. I loved it so much I ordered the grey and clear for my 13 pro along with the updated wallet. One thing I noticed about the clear is it keeps a lot of dirt out from between the phone and case.
After a month of UA-cam research, I went with the clear Magbak case and black Magbak wallet on my 14 Pro. (I know I know, clear, fingerprinting) I’m loving this ecosystem. The wallet is broken in to have 6 cards and at least a $20 in there. I’m gonna double down soon and get the black one and maybe brown wallet. This is MY cup of tea.
I have been using it for some time now and i have to say it does get grippier over time, I just ordered it for the 14 and i see its not as grippy at first but in time it will get more grip. So far the best silicone case i have tested and used
I think you’re testing the magnet strength backwards. You should hold the charger instead of the phone. The phone should be heavier. I’d like to see that the magnets hold the phone so that I can trust the magnets to hold the weight of the phone on any other metal surface
Mannnn that's a tough one right there. Magbak is right there but that's because they have multiple magnets. They both are very very close and I honestly can't tell.

I have this case and so far it’s great. It’s so convenient to stick it on anything metal. However the part where the mic is isn’t completely flush, so you can see some of the metal edge. Also after a few week the case gets really smooth almost slippery Finally if you get a color one it gets dirty pretty easily

At this point, I don't worry about cases anymore because I WFH so I only use cases when I am going out and I am trying to get used to not using cases at all and not dropping them too. 😏 Also, I don't like using magnets because it magnets little metals from anywhere you drop or keep your phone at 😬

@@leeezell6064 no it does not, its a live warning that comes in on your phone. there are many examples similar to the one im posting below. while yes its a nice strong magnet from my experience its not worth the damage it does to the phones ability to capture amazing photos. I had an iPhone XS and a magnetic case last year. The second time I slapped the case on, I received a warning stating the case might interfere with the camera. I imprudently disregarded the warning from a mix of disbelief and haste. Later, I was having issues capturing video of a distant waterfall set amongst thick foliage. The symptom was the image in the resulting footage showed a very high frequency pulsation. Some months later, I was recording video on the street and it looked as if the image was shot through a block of clear Jell-O. Unfortunately, this became a permanent attribute of the camera at this point. I Googled the jello-vision issue and found recommendations to place a magnet near the camera lens on your iPhone to stop the optical image stabilization sensor from being hyperactive. And that’s when the genius light came on: magnets plus optical image stabilization equals bad things. At this point, the problem had become permanent. Even when I took the case off the phone the camera was still shooting video with the jello-vision feature.
@@cjster1011 thanks for the detailed response! I’ve had this Magbak case on my new iPhone 14 pro for 5 days now and haven’t received any such warning. Maybe these cases wont have this issue? If I were to ever see the warning, I’d ditch the case immediately.
@@leeezell6064 keep on eye on it, it took a month or so on my 12 pro. But I did not ditch the case and did notice quality degradation. They may have improved it or moved the magnets. But for me it wasn’t worth the risk on my 14. I’ve found the MagSafe ring works well enough for my needs but you can tell is a little weaker then the magbak.

Try it on your fridge! Or any metal surface! I have this case and I use it all the time at the gym! That thing sticks to any metal surface really well 👍
This is the best, and most expensive, case I’ve ever owned but it’s not winning any design awards. They’re just one “wow” design update away from getting it’s due shine. Because it can mount to most metallic surfaces this seemed like the best option for vloggers and content creators. I wonder why it isn’t more popular.
I work on a cruise ship, and that case is fantastic because all the walls on the ship are metal, and you can attach your smartphone in the case practically anywhere. It's especially handy on the wall next to the bed.

First for all i like the looks of the case but the main concern is the case is so slippery, finger prints magnets you can see all the oily or grease on the case. The magnet is great with the magnet included. But when I stick it on our refrigerator it just keeps sliding maybe because the 14 Pro max is heavy.
Love my Magbak case and wallet. Problem is that the magstick doesn't fit anywhere in my car. I am currently using a CarMount mount in my car along with the magbak case, but it's not perfect. It works for the most part, but it does move at times. Does anybody know if there is a mount that might work with this Magbak case besides their magstick?

yup once i put my magbak case on it ruined my screen protector. made it bubble up so much i couldn’t even type.

Grip is fine. Too much is made about grips. If you have sweaty hands, get a lanyard for the case or use the finger loop if the wallet

I have the heavier s23 ultra phone and it doesn't slide anywhere. Magnets are rock solid.
can you do 100 mph in your car take a tight turn and it doesn't fly off the mount to the passenger floor?? Can you test that? Thanks!

Check out ESRs newer vent mount that grabs the vent like others but also has 2 extra legs that stabilize the mount.
