Thorns is did get its range up to 69 when it gets the catalyst,but it got nerfed to 64 range. Not to mention its synergy to one fragment on strand/ prismatic that proc severe by rapid precision hits but thorns triggers it on 2 instead of 3
Probably for balance? Most of the exotic hc’s have crazy kill chaining potential so if you have them juiced stats then legendary hc’s get left in the trash. Plus let’s not pretend like that 90 stab ain’t coming from el-cap lol
