I found some schools just have kids who have been cunts since day one and don't like outsiders whereas others have kids who are more accepting and come to like you eventually. Never been very well liked because I've got no wit and am not very funny but one thing that helped was not taking anything personal.
When I moved schools, the school I moved to had 80 students, so my class just accepted me and there were other new kids (one of them, is still my friend to this day)
