I have a Hoya retusa and a small Rhipsalis pilocarpa that I am growing from a small cutting. I also have a Peperomia obtusifolia which I am growing from cuttings. My 7 year old Calathea lancifolia is my favorite plant. It was given to me by a colleague when I started at a new school. It was in a four inch pot. Now it is a floor plant and its leaves are at least 20 inches and in need of a repot from the 10 inch pot. I am dreading this! We seem to have a lot of plants in common - Christmas cactus, Monsters deliciosa and others. I am totally envious of your Phipsalis pilocarpa!
That's so exciting, I love that we have so much cross-over! Retusa grows quickly and the slow peperomia obtusifolia finally rooted (the foliage tips started to curl a bit )🥹. Oh phewf, I've got years before the calathea becomes a floor plant, they are so gorgeous when they are large! Lucky you! As for that Pilocarpa, that plant just called to me. I'm sure yours will grow well once it gets established.
Your monstera deliciousa has great fenestration! I've got one getting like that ... finally ... but California sunshine better for plant growth than northern lights. 😊
The colors on your crotons look fantastic. Mine didn’t survive an unintentional drought last year, haha. Maybe I’ll give it another go. Pileas are pointless…
Ah thank you, keeping the crotons on my north facing balcony over August and September paid off. I'll try and see what happens to them with ndirect exposure to a growlight over the fall & winter. I understand about Pileas, each to their own, I wouldn't have gone out of my way for it.
@@SheHasPlants I’ve been into plants similar amount of time to you and have overlapping Cole toon. Not sure how I caught the bug, but that’s definitely a good description. Monsteras definitely do the best for me. We’re lucky to be getting into in now with prices down and selection up! Like your approach to the hobby.
Wow the Ficus Shivereana is stunning 🤩
For sure, it's so pretty!
Wow, that oxalis is outrageous! Beautiful 💗

It took 4 years for me, but the more light, the more leaves and bigger fenetrations! Get ready to sacrifice space :)
Beautiful ❤ Thankyou
Welcome 😊
I'm obsessed with pots with feet 😅 lol
Me too! They are so cute 🥰

@@robclaassen2999 YES! When I hear about the prices of the plants I've picked up a few years ago, it's shocking
Have you had that begonia thru a winter season? I bought one this past spring and I'm wondering how it will last over the winter
No, this will be my frist winter with this one. It's doign well for now. New growth has slown, as to be expected. Is it the same type of Begonia?
