This story is still great even all these years later. I love that it's still relevant and popular. Thank you for making this! I love watching everyone's insights into the characters.
If Walt had to choose between Jesse and Hank, like in a trolley problem, who would he choose? He'd save Hank yeah? So if he knew that Jesse's actions would get Hank killed, then he'd kill Jesse. Jesse lead Hank straight to Walt with no backup, just to get his revenge. Though Hank did talk Jesse into it, so really it was Hank's fault that Hank got killed.
This is the biggest weakness in the show, Jesse should have been killed as soon as he said he would rat on Walt if he was caught after being told not to cook anymore when Walt initially started cooking for Gus. Many other times after this Jesse should have been killed, but he was too much of a fan favorite for the writers to kill off.
Didn’t Walt in season 5 requested the neo nazis to kill Jesse, even offered them money, but later changed his mind? I haven’t seen the show for some time, but if I’m not mistaken he did one time came close to killing Jesse
As far as he should have known, Jesse should have already been dead - he asked Jack to kill him and left the shoot out under the impression that he would be gone in the coming hours. I disagree with this opinion that he went to save Jesse. He went to avenge the gang that killed Hank and stole his millions. Saving Jesse was ultimately a bonus because he just so happened to still be alive.
@@seanpatrickryan I disagree about he went to avenge hank... he mentioned that only once talking to Saul... It was not the Main reason.. He said with wrath on his voice the reason "I will kill jack and his entire crew". Because of the stolen money.. He mentioned that when was talking to skyler too... "Revenge" on hank's death was a consequence/second motive to hit jack.
@@dinopersian That's what I meant. I should have just said Jack and his gang to avenge what they did to him. I agree that Hank was a yet another bonus, and definitely NOT the underlying motive. Thanks for responding. I LOVE talking about Breaking Bad!
I asked all of my friends about jessy that what would you do instead of what Walt did for jessy and we all agree that if a man own a son like jessy they simply won't give a F about his pathetic life let alone that their relationship was just forced unwanted friendship that happened through the events
@@serialbinger Jesse wasn't a victim. 🤦 Walter went to Jack's compound to kill Jesse until he saw he was a prisoner and decided to spare Jesse. Jesse was a POS and a rat. He wasn't a victim or a good person.
Man.. This video is like a speech to justify Jesse's actions.. And in some point take some of the responsability and the evil Heisenberg's action... They are not victims for Odin's sake... Two criminals... Walter at Felina was the Devil himself... He had no humanity.. He finally admited he did everything FOR HIMSELF... He entended to kil Jesse Too. But he saw Jesse was slaved and tortured.. He thought he already "paid" and suffered too much for what he did... like a mercy attitude.
He didn’t plan on saving jesse. He wanted to kill them all. Only when he realized they had made jesse a slave did he decide to save him

He loved Jesse as a family member. He even calls his own son Jesse once. He not only didn't kill him, but he saved his life several times.
Even monsters are capable of love.
He actually tried to kill him with Jack but it was too late at that point lol. Jesse was with Hank and Gomez and they fooled Walt

You’re pretty underrated!
Thanks, appreciate that. Hopefully I will get rated in not to long.

He did want them to kill him but they kept him alive as a slave to cook. Didn’t you watch El Camino?
Walt wanted Jesse killed by the Nazis but it was too late and the Ozymandias or the shootout happened
